My teammate and friend on the @Ravens @AdamTerry_78 speaking on how I taught him Independent hands. So Grateful that he’d say this in his own interview! Dude was a really hard worker and wanted to know everything Old man Willie had to say on blocking! I appreciate all the young lineman on that 2008 Ravens team for accepting me! That’s love Bro! @CoachPaulAlex and I started doing this early 2000’s. He said a guy actually was doing it 20 years prior If I can recall. But he gave my Version a name “ The club” cuz of the way I would slap my outside hand on the outside of the Dends shoulder pads and how hard I would bring my inside hand! He was the first I heard say “ High hand low hand” Everyone was still 2 hand punching when We started doing it! Maybe not everyone but I didn’t see many Tackles doing it 2003-2008. Dends said “I was holding!” 😁. Never got called for holding doing this !check the stat book! I would go demo it on Refs before games and ask “ Is this holding?” They all would say “ As long as your knees are even with his knees.” Check out videos below ! #Whodey #Bengals #Ravens #NFL #Offensiveline #Teaching
