OTD: In 1995. 👀 @SoniaDenoncourt
First ever opening match with female referee at a (Women's) World Cup was on this day in 1995. 25 years ago @SoniaDenoncourt (right) officiated Sweden vs Brazil. Great to see that football associations see the importance to develop women's football and refereeing.

When you don't have to referee due to corona or need to stay home. You can still become a better referee. This clip database by Uefa is a wonderful practice tool you can use at home. Enjoy, and take care! buff.ly/2GFU9e5
