i do not believe there is a systemic risk here
Binance reportedly makes $16-$17 billion in annual revenue
almost half of the total amount involved in the incident has already been frozen or is potentially recoverable
total amount that may ultimately be unrecoverable = ~$3.2 billion
so about 2 - 2.5 months of revenue based on those estimates?
very manageable for a company of Binance's scale, especially considering its strong history of prioritizing users during periods of stress like this
@cz_binance and @heyibinance have also publicly stated that all user funds are safe and will be fully covered
in my opinion:
- odds of systemic risk? incredibly low!
- odds of a bank run? incredibly low!
- odds of panic selling and overblown media headlines? yes
this is simply THE event that puts in the final local lows before things get really exciting again
Binance and the industry will be fine
don't make any trading decisions out of panic
chill, touch some grass, make sure your opsec is good in the meantime — crypto is not going away!

It does look like a hack on Binance. Appreciate the quick freeze from Tether (~$971m) and Circle (~$823m).
I don't manage Binance (.com) anymore, but as a shareholder, I expect all user funds will be fully covered.

Singapore Police Say Ledger crypto Wallets Sold at Local Retailers Contained Malicious Hardware Implants
Singapore police said on October 28 that some Ledger cryptocurrency hardware wallets purchased from local retailers contained malicious hardware implants capable of stealing users' recovery phrases or private keys. At least two cases have been reported since September 10, resulting in losses of approximately S$3.5 million ($2.7 million). Ledger, a leading French hardware wallet manufacturer, is reviewing the affected cases, while police investigations remain ongoing.

on page 42, chapter 5, i found something much more interesting.
back in 1999, CZ was working on an AI project at McGill University, training neural networks to play soccer as part of RoboCup.
one of the competing leagues even featured Sony’s AIBO robot dogs.
almost 30 years later, AI is everywhere.
what fascinates me isn’t the dog. it’s how early CZ was already exploring AI.
his team didn’t win the competition, but their research was published in 2000.

Today, the Vietnamese community just wanted some recognition, so I spoke up for them.
Sometimes it feels like BSC belongs only to the Chinese community, haha.
But don’t underestimate Vietnamese players. I’ve seen people with just 5 followers on X holding millions of dollars in their wallets.
Being quiet doesn’t mean being small.

Never underestimate the BSC community in Vietnam. 🇻🇳🔶
BSC isn’t just strong in China. Vietnam also has a massive community, with around 20,000 participants.
They may not be good at marketing, may never appear on the GMGN or FOMO leaderboards, and some might have only 10–20 followers on X.
But don’t mistake silence for a lack of financial firepower.
Some Vietnamese investors are willing to put six figures into a memecoin with just a $10M market cap.
Not everyone with influence needs to be famous. And not all serious capital shows up on a leaderboard.
I’m writing this not to compete with the Chinese community, but to make sure the Vietnamese community gets the recognition and respect it deserves.
Don’t overlook Vietnam when talking about the future of BNB Chain.
We may be quiet, but we are not small. 🇻🇳❤️

That's what makes this story interesting to me.
As the 年年 community grows, its potential to support @GiggleAcademy grows with it.
The community has reported more than 17,718 BNCB in donations, worth roughly $100K–$110K at the reported snapshot.
That's a meaningful start. But imagine what this community could contribute if it keeps growing year after year.
So, what's next?
I'd love to see more ideas like these:
📚 1. Help More Children Learn
Support tablet donations for schools that lack learning devices. Even a small number of tablets can give children more opportunities to learn.
🌐 2. Help Keep Learning Accessible
Devices alone aren't enough. Internet access, charging equipment, and ongoing support can make a real difference in whether children can use digital learning tools.
🤝 3. Bring More Communities Together
年年 doesn't have to do this alone. Other BNB Chain projects, holders, and organizations could join forces, set donation goals, and share transparent records of what they contribute.
The goal isn't just to raise money. It's to make sure that support reaches the children who need it.
Of course, donations should be verifiable, and real impact takes time. But every step forward matters.
Imagine if every growing crypto community helped just a little. How much could we accomplish together?
I'm bullish on the potential of 年年, not just because its community is growing, but because that growth could mean more support for free education.
Let's build something that matters beyond the chart.
One community. One contribution. More opportunities for children. ❤️

I used to expect Trust Wallet to launch a social trading platform like this first. Turns out Genius got there ahead of them.
First impressions: the UI is polished and looks great. Being built on BNB Chain is still a major advantage for deposits and withdrawals. I initiated a transfer, and the funds landed in my wallet in less than 2 seconds. Insanely fast!
