My Mom keeps finding old stuff of mine in storage(s) and passing them on. She just handed me these two recently ;) #dnd #comicbooks

Playing some #dnd today - our long-running campaign (few years now) and facing a potential TPK ;) I moved out of the area, so I join them all via discord (I'm on the bottom camera there). There is a cam on the table/fight, and one up high looking at everyone ;) #rpg #discord

We fled... the first time in these years playing that we had to flee. This was an ancient creature with Legendary actions, etc. Brutal.

We have faced a creature with Legendary actions before, but we won that fight relatively easily... not this time, haha.

Reading up on #torchbearer today while watching an actual play of the game on the tubes...

I got really into understanding #Blockchain. I went through the MIT course (vids) by Gary Gensler (now the Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission). Watched the lectures, did some of the activities, nutn crazy but learned a lot. EP 1... youtube.com/watch?v=EH6vE97q…

Anyway, I nerded out over it and still do to some extent, but mostly just watch my crypto money (its own salary at this point) and read about it all regularly (the tech etc, not just the $$$). Regardless, I still tell people I can't say I'm "investing"... I'm "gambling".
1
...gambling, but perhaps with more information than some others have in this area. It's worked out well for me but... it could still be more luck involved than any knowledge, hehe.
2
So there you go. #Crypto has been a thing for me for a few years. Now you know something I could discuss here from time to time that is not #dnd or #youtube related ;)

Went n found my first #crypto purchases - July 2019, via #Robinhood. I'm mostly out of Robinhood these days (still have some stocks in there I will remove when they get where I want them). I was pretty heavily involved in the GME stuff, which was a blast, but Robinhood... bleh.

I would end up getting more #ethereum and #doge especially doge... the next time I bought it was months later but the price had actually come down. I continued to by in 10k chunks in 2019. Doge has treated me well (sold a lot near its peak but still have a nice chunk)...

Just realized I bought those #torchbearer PDF's (1st edition) yesterday when the second edition was out (and is pretty new)... I had no idea there was a 2nd edition until now, haha. Guess I am buying two more PDF's ;) @theburningwheel

What a newb (I mean, I AM very new to the game)... I was just reading some more of the book and ran into "Presedence" and recall seeing a video earlier today where they talked about that being a new thing (iirc). So I scrolled to the top and while I didn't see 2e right away...
Update re: this twitter account. For a while now it has been focused primarily on my Youtube channel and some RPG (#dnd) talk. However, some of my focuses have changed so I figured I would shift and use it to communicate about... well, anything I am interested in. Me being me ;)

As such, a profile picture of me rather than the "Weem" logo, etc. More to come!

Best place to buy physical copy of Torchbearer Second Edition Slipcase Set? I see it on a site or two but know nothing of those sites. I would even take the PDF's, but don't even see those on Drivethru? #torchbearer #dnd

Ok, I did some more research, figured out what I wanted (scholars and dungeoneers books) and grabbed the PDF's from @theburningwheel. Been reading through them today and loving what I'm seeing ;) #TorchBearer
