What's the actual pitch to the companies whose stocks OKXICE wants to tokenize? so far, most of the benefits seem to be for people trading their stocks, not the companies themselves. Hard to blame issuers for not being excited about that 🤷‍♂️
JUST IN: 🇺🇸 Wells Fargo, Intuit, and 20 other companies oppose tokenized trading of their stocks on OKX.

“A token is not equity. But equity can be a token.” That distinction changes everything about tokenized stocks. Our CEO @Joris_DLN on why the official shareholder register matters, from yesterday’s webinar with @CantonStrategic 👇

Everyone wants to tokenize stocks. Meanwhile, Broadcom, Verizon, CoreWeave and others are objecting to having their shares traded on OKXICE. Maybe the industry should start building with issuers instead of treating them as an afterthought. 🤷‍♂️

Trump is probably going to lose the midterms. After that, the period of self-reflection caused by Trump's victory in 2024 will be over. So before that happens, I wanted to remind people of why the left's mistakes enabled Trump's big victory two years ago. noahpinion.blog/p/why-donald…

Unironically, this might be an effective strategy to plunge support for Trump, AfD and the likes.

Volodymyr Zelensky is the towering giant of our time, a true statesman and leader of his nation. Donald Trump is a moral pygmy, the worst, most destructive, politician America has ever produced.

We will be introducing bipartisan legislation to block any and all purchases of Russian oil. It will be called the “Ronald Reagan Peace Through Strength Act.” It will be forced to the Floor via discharge and it will pass overwhelmingly. #PeaceThroughStrength

God, are we setting up further intervention against Zelensky? We should’ve been 1000% on his side this whole time and oil prices would’ve gone down after Moscow‘s humiliating defeat. But now we’re funding Putin’s war machine. It’s monstrous.
🚨On Zelenskyy, Trump says "he'd better damn well stop" hitting refineries in Russia because it's affecting diesel and hurting US farmers. "I think it's time for Ukraine to get a new president."

According to Cloudflare Data Explorer the amount of russian bot traffic has dropped to 49% after Ukraine struck a yandex data center. Could this disrupt the midterm elections in the US?

Hi. If elliptic curves are broken so that any exposed public key leads to compromise and it's by a financially-motivated hacker who’s top priority is to steal crypto, the entire fucking world is going to zero. Having your magic internet coins in bunker mode is not going to help you. It would mean some random ass fucking cyber criminals > every developed nation state and private corporation in the world.
Hi. If elliptic curves are broken so that any exposed public key leads to compromise, and it's not by white hat hackers who save everyone's assets first, your coins are going to zero. Having them in bunker mode is not going to help you. They are still worth zero.

If you’re following tokenized equities, then OCF and OCP are two acronyms worth knowing. OCF (Open Cap Table Format) gives equity data a common language. Think about a company raising on one platform, managing its cap table somewhere else, working with lawyers and eventually a transfer agent. The same equity data has to move through all of them, so having a standard format makes a lot of sense. OCP (Open Cap Table Protocol) is about what happens when the shares themselves move onchain. You can tokenize a stock, but if the actual ownership record still sits in another database, you now have two records that need to stay in sync. OCP is designed so that authoritative record can operate onchain too. I really hope these become standards we’re still using decades from now.

OCF and OCP solve different problems. OCF gives equity data a common structure so different systems can understand the same information. OCP defines how an authoritative ownership record can operate onchain.
