I’m a CA, but I chose business. In my early days, friends and relatives often asked me: “After becoming a CA, why don’t you take a white collar job?” Honestly, those questions made me doubt my decision sometimes. Today, many of the same people respect the path I chose. That taught me something important: A degree is not a destination. It’s a tool. You don’t earn a top degree just to follow the path society expects from you. You earn it to build the confidence and knowledge to choose your own path. A job, business, profession or anything else there is no “better” path. The best path is the one where you can grow, create value and become the best version of yourself. Your degree should open doors, not decide which door you must enter.
