Ever wondered who invented QR codes? Developed by Denso Wave in Japan in 1994, they were originally used to track car parts. Those lil squares store information, and thanks to error correction, they can still work even when damaged. Pretty clever engineering, isn't it? 👀

Good morning! ☀️ CrowdStrike introduced a feature that can stop misbehaving AI agents, prevent them from restarting and cut off their network access. As AI agents gain more autonomy, controlling what they can do becomes increasingly important. An emergency brake for AI! 🔐

We say "Xerox" when we mean a photocopy, even though Xerox is a company. But did you know "Wi-Fi" is also a brand name? It's not short for "Wireless Fidelity." Some brand names become so popular that we forget they're actual brands. Lemme know if you know any such words. 👀

💻 Ever wondered why your laptop can have 1TB of storage but only 8GB of RAM? They serve for different purposes: - RAM handles data your computer is actively using. - Storage keeps your files, and OS. More storage doesn't necessarily mean better performance.

How many of you remember Nikola Tesla? He dreamed of transmitting electricity wirelessly, without traditional power lines. What if his vision of wireless power transmission had become a reality? Imagine how different our world would be today? 🤯

Fun fact: The world has over 1.7 million km of undersea cables connecting us to the internet! That's enough cable to circle Earth's equator about 42 times. They carry around 99% of international internet traffic. The internet has more physical than we think. 🌊
