Democrat Johnny Garcia, running against Trump-backed Republican Carlos De La Cruz in Texas' newly redrawn 35th Congressional District, said he's hearing growing frustration from Republican voters over the Trump administration's immigration enforcement and economic policies.
Garcia, a former sheriff's deputy, acknowledged that the Biden administration got the border "completely wrong," but argued that Trump's immigration crackdown has created a new crisis.
"There's a new crisis that has now been created under this administration that is completely going after everybody but the hardened criminals that make our communities less safe," Garcia said.

my dudes, this is an easy one. they do not care. these are not banking billionaires - they're revenge of the nerds billionaires. they've hated people since middle school and they want to win the game they think we're all playing.
I cannot wrap my head around the endgame here. If you destroy the planet, crash the global economy, and leave ordinary people too broke to buy anything, what exactly are billionaires planning to do with all that money? Sit in underground bunkers staring at bank balances while the world falls apart? Wealth is only valuable when there's a functioning society around it. So what exactly are they trying to win?
