It’s hard to find words for Benue. These attacks have been happening since before I was born, always in the background, always part of life. I was in Benue in April; Makurdi felt like one of the safest places I’ve known. But the violence keeps creeping closer. It’s no longer a distant village tragedy. #BenueUnderAttack
This logic is weird because if a representative of an organisation, group or corporation does something illegal or immoral, most people denounce the person and the whole, especially Christians. Why should we treat Christianity differently?
Being cynical, hateful and anti-Africa or anti-Nigeria as an African/Nigerian yourself is very sad. Not liking something and taking every opportunity to insult, degrade and strip dignity from that thing, are two very different things. Internalised racism is real and it works.

We not stopping.
Y'all talk about Buju's "pen" so much but not about how he sings the lyrics basically the same way almost everytime. No wahala sha.
