The @m_chiles @SenecaLearn session on feedback was excellent! Top takeaways: 1) Increase student receptiveness - construct a feedback charter 2) Always focus on 'Next steps' (and the process needed to achieve them) 3) Ensure feedback is razor-sharp and granular 4) Engage parents
The brilliant researchED video by @adamboxer1 got me thinking about displays. If these split the attention of students, should walls be blank? Yet If displays contain key info does the occasional glance help embed these into long-term memory? Is there a research base for this?
