You鈥檝e probably seen the post going viral about making YouTube thumbnails with AI in one prompt.
That鈥檚 us. We鈥檙e the tool behind it.
A message from our founder, and YouTuber (140K)
your subscribers would click a gray square. design the thumbnail for the stranger scrolling past at full speed
a flopped video isn't dead, it's wearing the wrong outfit. swap the thumbnail and give it a second premiere
a beautiful thumbnail that raises no question is just wallpaper. curiosity gets the click, pretty gets a compliment
every word on your thumbnail charges the viewer a reading fee. most will pay for three, nobody pays for eight
eyes are arrows. wherever your subject looks, the viewer looks next. aim them at the point, not off frame
the shocked face stopped being an emotion years ago. now it's just a font, and viewers read right past it
make the thumbnail before you film. if the idea can't survive one image, it won't survive ten minutes
preview your thumbnail in dark mode at least once. that crisp white background is a flashlight in the viewer's face
crop in until it feels rude, then crop a little more. breathing room is for movie posters, not thumbnails
the timestamp badge eats your bottom right corner on every surface. whatever you put there, youtube already deleted it
your thumbnail doesn't compete with your niche, it competes with whatever youtube parks next to it. know your neighbors
stealing a big channel's thumbnail style doesn't borrow their clicks, it just makes you look like a rerun
you design at full screen, viewers judge at the size of a postage stamp. if it dies small, it was never alive
'do you like it' is the wrong question. ask someone what they think the video is about. a pause means redesign
