First Principles thinking is probably the most underrated skill in TECH. once you understand why an algorithm works, you stop memorizing solutions and start deriving them yourself. It helps you develop intuition and remember in the best way possible unfamiliar problems become less intimidating. patterns start making sense. even hard algorithms feel intuitive. if DSA has ever felt like memorizing 500 random tricks, thita ai's Algorithms from First Principles playlist might completely change how you approach it. wish they had made this earlier playlist link: youtube.com/watch?v=LfktKt6m…

Had a dream last night where someone was explaining my reach problem on X to me. And I swear, it felt like a conversation with Ramanujan. This guy was explaining patterns, distribution, visibility and some ridiculously complex underlying mechanism behind why my posts weren’t reaching people. It all made perfect sense in the dream. Like I’d just been handed the mathematical formula to crack the X algorithm. I woke up thinking I’d finally unlocked the secrets of organic growth. Unfortunately, I remember absolutely nothing.

i have a personal vendetta against this genre of indie music where a man whispers into a microphone over a guitar and calls it a song. where is the drama? where is the madness? where is the will to live?

One of my friends is a CLAUDE ZOMBIE. he makes $5k/month from his AI startup but I'm genuinely concerned about him. he wakes up, opens Claude Code, runs 14 agents in parallel, eats whatever Swiggy recommends, and goes back to prompting. yesterday I asked him what he's building. he said "idk let me ask claude" he has 400 paying customers and absolutely no idea what his code does. i fear he's going to become a millionaire.

AI founders I beg you, please sell me a $29/month subscription to a chatgpt wrapper with a purple gradient landing page and "10x your productivity" written. truly groundbreaking stuff. tell me more about how you're disrupting a $400 billion industry with 3 api calls. sell me your agents, sell me your AI employees, sell me your second brains, sell me your personal copilots. pls automate problems I didn't even know I had. I have way too much money and simply cannot survive another day without an AI agent which manages all my other ai subscriptions and just does everything for me, i will just eat and sleep until it can do that too for me .

Had a random craving for Maggi at 3 AM one night. Got up, made myself a bowl with coffee, watched a few reels while eating, and went back to bed at 5. It’s been a month. I now have breakfast at 4 PM, lunch at 9 PM, dinner at 3 AM, and see the sunrise more often than my own family. My circadian rhythm has filed a missing person report. All because I wanted some Maggi.

I found an open-source AI agent that runs at 1/20th the cost of Claude Code, and somehow gives me better visual output. This entire comic-style marketing video was created with ONE prompt. It literally: > Took screenshots of the site I work at. > Scraped the web for relevant images > Found music to go with the video > Wrote the entire script > Put everything together into this cool comic-style marketing video Total cost? Less than $0.10. I'm genuinely impressed with what Wombat can do, especially at this cost. It's open source and deserves a lot more attention. Go give it a star ⭐ github.com/ramsterr/Wombat
Okay, thita.ai just dropped a pretty INSANE update for anyone preparing for tech interviews. They've rebuilt almost the entire platform, and apparently everything is unlocked for free until November 5. Here's what caught my attention: • AI mock interview loops based on actual interview processes at 136 companies. You can choose your company and level and practise DSA, system design, LLD, machine coding, behavioural rounds, etc. • 472 DSA problems with real code execution in 6 languages. • 99 DSA patterns, NeetCode 150/250, Blind 75, and structured 90-day roadmaps. • A code coach that lets you ask questions about specific lines of your solution. • 350 new animated visuals explaining DSA, system design, LLD and CS fundamentals. • LLD and machine coding practice where your code actually has to run. And they're giving away 5 extra AI mock interviews during the launch. No credit card required.

“AI can’t follow coding principles.” “AI can’t untangle tight coupling.” Bro is still prompting GPT-4 in a chat window and pasting the output into VS Code. I watched Opus untangle a 4-year-old god class into clean modules, write the tests first, and explain why each boundary existed. In one sitting under 10 mins. No MISTAKES at all Here’s the uncomfortable truth: AI doesn’t ignore good principles. It ignores the principles you never gave it the context to see. Coupling isn’t hard for AI because it’s dumb. It’s hard because you dropped it into a 200k-line repo blind and expected it to know which 3 files break when you touch the 4th. Give it the dependency graph, the hotspots, the ownership map (I pipe mine in through repowise before the agent touches anything) and the “AI writes spaghetti” problem mostly disappears. So yes, coding is dead. Typing syntax, memorizing APIs, grinding boilerplate. Gone. Engineering isn’t. But the bar just moved. “Average engineer who writes code” is not a job anymore. The ones who survive will be the ones who can design systems, set the constraints, and spot the wrong decision before the agent ships it. You don’t need to code anymore. You need to be brilliant.

how are people going to the gym, hitting 100g protein, making $5k MRR from their AI SaaS, working at FAANG, grinding leetcode, giving interviews, face maxxing, looksmaxxing, maintaining a skincare routine, reading 20 books a year, having a healthy relationship AND getting 8 hours of sleep?? i can’t stop rajma chawal maxxing, doomscrolling, overthinking, taking unnecessary naps and opening the fridge every 20 minutes like something new spawned.

I found a crazy resource for FDE interview prep Forward Deployed Engineer hiring is picking up everywhere, but barely anyone knows what the interview process actually looks like or how to prepare for it. There's so much structured prep for SDE roles, but almost nothing for FDEs. I recently came across a dedicated FDE interview prep track on thita.ai, and it's genuinely impressive. You can even practice FDE mock interviews in a realistic interview environment with an AI interviewer who asks follow-up questions, reviews your code, and challenges your technical decisions. Feels like someone finally built a proper way to prepare for these roles. Definitely worth checking out if you're targeting FDE positions.

Most people struggle with DSA because they’re learning algorithms backwards. They memorize the solution before understanding the problem that made the algorithm necessary. And then wonder why they go blank when a question changes slightly. The real unlock is first-principles thinking. Once you understand why an algorithm works, you can start deriving solutions instead of recalling them. Patterns stop looking like 500 unrelated tricks. Hard problems become variations of ideas you already understand. That's how you build actual problem-solving intuition. @thita_ai Algorithms from First Principles playlist teaches DSA exactly this way. Wish someone had made this when I was learning to code. link: youtube.com/watch?v=LfktKt6m…

Someone built a full app with AI in one weekend.
Someone automated their 9-to-5 and quit.
Someone made ₹10 lakh from an AI side hustle.
Someone's AI agent runs their business while they sleep.
A 19-year-old just raised funding with an AI prototype.
A thread says "if you're not using AI in 2026, you're already finished." My chest got tight. Then I closed the app. Made chai. Sat on the balcony. Watched the street wake up. And nothing happened. No opportunity disappeared. No door closed. The world didn't leave without me. That's when it hit me: the panic wasn't coming from my life. It was coming from my feed. Fear sells. Urgency sells. "You're missing out" is the most profitable sentence on the internet. You're not behind. You're just being told you are, by people who earn when you believe it. Log off. You'll miss nothing that matters.

If you’re preparing for software interviews and don’t see what’s wrong with this solution in 10 seconds, we need to talk 😭

Every night I ask myself the same question. Is it the middle? It never is. So I let half of everything go. Without looking back. And again. And again. Until there's almost nothing left but me. No one told me what I was searching for. And then I realise… I was never sorted. binary search only works on sorted lists. Would've been nice to know before I discarded half my existence.
