This is a very interesting argument for cross-platform code. I do a lot of “reimplement this crypto system in another language” for clients, and it’s definitely a tedious and sometimes difficult exercise. If you don’t know crypto well, it’s also easy to inject security bugs. – at Raleigh, NC

This data, even though there is no linked name or email address, is not even close to be "anonymous". There is just no anonymous location data as everyone has a unique combination of home, work and other places they visit, so nearly everyone could be identified. #privacy
