After the latest furry drama, I have decided to symbolically remove the term from my bio. Given all of the stigmas with it, I can see why some brothers want the rest of us to stop using the term. However, in lieu of being given viable alternative terms I have thought of one. A ๐งต

The Bible is clear:
Jesus is God.
The Father is God.
The Holy Spirit is God.
And God is one.
Oh, so we only JUST now are aware that ads could do this? Where has Citizen Lab been for the last 20 years? Ads have been infecting computers with malware just by viewing it for literal decades. Ask anyone who's seen a McAfee 2010 falseware attack.
My friend @moonlitmustelid is well within her rights to deny service and access to anyone she feels uncomfortable with. It has always been a rule that you may deny service to anyone for any reason. She's in the right, objectively in the right. I am in full support of her in this.

Warning for everyone who owns an Age of the Primes Vector Prime. His thighes are painted and can result in locked knees if the paint didn't dry right in the factory. Be extremely careful as the thin gold plastic is prone to snapping if you try to force the knee to bend.
If evil is measured by blaming others, tell me this...
Adam: Blamed Eve for his disobedience and blamed God for giving him Eve.
Eve: Blamed just the serpent for deceiving her and no one else.
Who is more evil based on how much blame they gave?

October 13th: The Armor of God
Have you had days where you feel like you are on the brink of crumbling? Are you struggling to keep your head above the water at times? I think we all have been there, struggling to keep the faith and remember that we are a people of eternal hope. It is not our strength that will get us by in these seasons, brothers and sisters, but the strength of God will.
[Eph 6:10-13 NASB95] โ 10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. 11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual [forces] of wickedness in the heavenly [places.] 13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
Vigilance is enabled by the strength and faithfulness of our Lord. Every day, when we take up our cross may we also put on the armor of God. Take some time to be alone with the Lord, giving no room for the voices of the evil one. The forces of darkness I wrote about in the introduction to this study are mentioned in this scripture! (More like this scripture inspired some of my thinking on the need for vigilance now, especially)
Stand firm. Be a people of hope and look to God for your daily bread, your protection, and your strength. You will resist the forces of the present darkness. Truth, righteousness, the gospel, your faith, your salvation, and the word of God are listed in this famous passage. Arm yourself with them daily, especially as seasonal depression spikes at this time of year.
I implore you to stand with your Christian brothers and sisters. If they fall, help them back up. If God enables you to meet their needs, steward His provision for you well. Stand strong in God's strength that you may aid them.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, enable us in your strength to stand against the evil one. Remind us to bear our cross daily, dying to ourselves and seeking the needs of others. We ask you for provision, wisdom as we face the darkness, and for your Spirit to dwell within us as we move to take inch by inch of creation for your glory. Amen
October Studies in Vigilance
No matter what you believe about the season of fall or Halloween, this is a season wrought, especially in the wicca circles, with consensus to gather against the children of God. May we remain vigilant, encouraging one another, and taking special time with God so that we may endure the spiritual attacks that lie in wait. May this be a time to shine God's glory into a dark season, contrasting the principalities of this present darkness.
Below, you will find each day's devotional, written by staff/members of The Flock, my discipleship server.
