I honestly thought school leaders had got it. They had stopped sharing their Ofsted reports and the judgements because the stress it causes their colleagues. The only way change will happen is when we stop celebrating this perverse system.

January 2025 we were inspected and I never wanted to go back. I did get back with support from friends but I don’t think I will ever be the same person again. I and my team were left devastated by a team that didn’t understand the context we work in. I hope things have changed

Why is education so polarized. Those who favour tough behavior polices v the restorative approach, those who like an academic curriculum v a vocational / technical curriculum. Those who want to serve a community compared to those who want to make money. We need to move on.

Now we know the issues arise if children are off rolled. Sharing information is essential, those that do then end up in court for breaking GDPR and those that don’t. Well nothing happens.

What is it all about? Every school I see has staff wearing hi viz around the building. Why?

What is going on! Tried to get to London today for a meeting and couldn’t get there time. Disappointed as I wanted to share what we do. @LNER disappointing today and your staff did the best they could with what seemed like misleading information.

Help. I need 12 books to recommend to our children aged 13-16 who are in alternative education to read this year. Any ideas would be gratefully received.

Another academic year and another upward trend. Just to point out to people when you are told they might be in but they are not engaged by supposedly someone who grades schools. We knew, the parents knew a d so did the kids. Well done to the class of 2025

Well that is 6 examination results done. 3 GCSE and 3 A level. All 3 of my children have done brilliantly well. Between them they have a combination of 11A*s 1 A and 1B at Alevel. I could have only dreamed of all that when they were born.

What a year! What a Term and what a week. It’s been exhausting but worth every minute. Received a fabulous email from a family in Leicester saying how wonderful my students were on the Duke of Edinburgh camp site. Relational approaches do work. Have a great summer

The amount of school leaders, sorry private academies, on jollies to London makes me wonder where all the money is going.
