Tapper: Mr. Hilton, just to clarify, would you direct California law enforcement to assist the Trump administration's mass deportations beyond dangerous criminals? Yes or no?
Hilton: It's about enforcing the law. I mean, the federal law is immigration law is obviously a federal matter.
Becerra: California welcomed you and you welcome ICE mercenaries into our state in return. You seem to welcome immigrants who look like you, but deport immigrants who look like me

Police can run your license plate through a network of 120,000+ cameras, and most agencies require no warrant and no suspicion to do it. For years, drivers had no way of knowing it happened. Now you type your plate into a website and read the exact reason an officer entered when they searched you.
Flock Safety sells surveillance as a service to 6,000+ customers in 49 states. Cities, sheriffs, HOAs, school districts. Its cameras photograph every passing vehicle while an AI indexes the plate, make, model, and color.
Every search inside the system generates an audit log. Open records laws force some cities to release those logs. Have I Been Flocked aggregates the FOIA'd files so any driver can look up who searched them and what justification got typed into the box.
The justifications are the story. Three Bibb County, Georgia deputies were arrested August 10 for running plates for personal reasons. A Milledgeville police major was charged three days later. Officers in Pasadena and Baytown, Texas came under investigation this month. Dozens of documented cases nationally involve officers using the system to track exes.
Flock's response arrived within days of the arrests. Data retention cut from 30 days to 7.
A $7.5 billion company spent years selling accountability through cameras. The company that logs every driver forgot its own logs were public records.
