T5: Ease of access. Patients expect care when and where they want it now, and there's no going back. Not just telemed, it will be a mix of solutions but most importantly: ease of use for patients. The providers who do that well are going to win over the long term. #HITsm
T5: What changes in engagement that resulted from COVID do you see lasting beyond the pandemic? @timdybvig #HITsm

T4: 2/ Burnout is at record levels and the pandemic makes care even more stressful; being able to hear about all the times you made someone's day is good for morale and culture. Surveys and Google Reviews are both sources, but spread the love. #HITsm
T4: For providers, what insights gleaned from patient feedback or data do you think are most valuable for businesses? @timdybvig #HITsm

T4: 1/ I love this question, mostly because the answer surprises people: positive feedback! Service recovery and negative feedback also very important, of course, and should never be overlooked or ignored. But good news is very powerful and you can't have too much. #HITsm

T2: 1/ These days we're seeing a combination of solutions, but it depends on what part of the patient journey. Search, web chat, e-registration and text are important components to get patients in the door and start the encounter. #HITsm

T2: 2/ Post-visit we see a lot of texting (two-way, surveys) and some email. Some providers are still wary about the demographic reach of text, but it's far and wide; data shows a slight dip in younger populations (late teen, early 20s), but parents and grandparents text. #HITsm
T1: 1/ I think now more than ever it's important to meet patients where they are, especially in a time of heightened safety where physical access is more fraught. Often that can mean telemedicine, but even just allowing patients to text you gives them better access. #HITsm

T1: 2/ In addition to access there's also the emotional component. Many people are scared or uncomfortable coming into the physical office even if they have to. Better tools for engagement and comms will also increase their comfort, trust and ultimately safety as well. #HITsm
