A unique addition to the Alaska Airlines route map: Anchorage-Tokyo Narita served on a Boeing 737-8.
At 8:15 westbound, is that too long to be on a 737?

We are excited to announce a new nonstop destination for OKC Will Rogers International Airport! Starting March 28, 2027, United Airlines will commence nonstop service to San Francisco (SFO)!
This connects OKC to a dynamic metro, the center of our nation’s tech economy, and a gateway to international destinations.
This follows recent announcements of seasonal weekend service via Southwest Airlines to San Diego, Tampa and Baltimore.
OKC’s nonstops are now up to 29 destinations, a testament to our city’s continued growth and our team at the airport. As you may have seen a couple of weeks ago when we rolled out the long-term master plan for Will Rogers, we are continuing to invest and we have every intention of continuing this momentum.

United Airlines and Air Canada are seeking to add ten routes to their existing transborder joint venture, even as US-Canada cross-border travel demand has declined amid ongoing geopolitical friction between the two countries.
The proposed additions include:
- Montreal (YUL) to Chicago (ORD)
- Montreal (YUL) to Washington
- Ottawa (YOW) to New York
- Toronto (YYZ) to San Francisco (SFO)
- Vancouver (YVR) to San Francisco (SFO)
The proposal is currently in Transport Canada public consultation, which closes November 15, 2026.
For crew holding lines or picking up open time at affected domiciles, joint venture expansion typically means additional codeshare operations and coordinated scheduling between the two carriers.

Sad that SFO has the lowest percentage of Starlink-equipped flights of any United hub, mostly because they install them on small planes first and SFO is a major long-haul hub
But those of us on the longest flights with the biggest planes need good WiFi the most!
We already have @Starlink on more planes than any other airline in the world, which means nearly half of our daily U.S. departures have it. And it's free for MileagePlus members. Use our new our tracker to see if your next flight has Starlink *and* follow along to watch our progress as we turbocharge getting these installations done by the end of 2027: StarlinkTracker.United.com
