We as the Moonpad team have never built something in crypto before. We are just what is left from the trenches and crypto traders.
We are pleased that finally pumpfun erased from the market the typical classic rug pulls (dev removing the liquidity), and we thought finally since 2024 the space would be safer. But the opposite happened. The hell doors are opened.. hundreds of thousands of bundled rugs launching daily…
People have lost millions of dollars, some have committed suicide and lost their life savings. The trust in the memecoins industry got destroyed.
Free launches turned rugging and farming into the easiest money someone could get. Holders started dumping early, devs started rugging earlier. Rarely does something move above 1M market cap. If this continues, no one will buy memecoins anymore, or we will see fewer coins flying above 1M mcap. Even good devs will lose the war since the community is scared to touch anything for the long term.
We really want to fix this or at least to make the space a bit better and make people win again like it was before 2024 with at least 20 daily +10M mcap runners.
For that we are giving Pumpfun 24 hours to:
Implement 1 SOL deploy fees
Or
The dev must lock 5000 USDC until their token reaches +1M mcap!
Reduce trading fees from 1.25% to 0.3% (less fees, the more money in the trader’s pocket).
You have already extracted more than 1.5 billion dollars from the community. It is time to focus on safety more than volume. You can still gain a lot of money from 1 SOL deploy fees.
If this is not going to happen, then it is our shot to try what we can do… and Moonpad will be live in 24 hours from now.
Hundreds of launchpads tried to copy pumpfun. We are not here to copy. We are not here for money. If our solution works, we will all win.

We have seen a lot of launchpads recently, but no one cares about the community, all of them are just after the volume… So MoonPad with 1 SOL deployment fee for devs and 0.3% trading fees for degens could be the last chance. The MoonPad platform launch date will be announced tomorrow.
Everything is ready, we are now in the mainnet testing phase.
On V1 of the platform we have two types of launches:
1) 1 SOL: The deploy fees and bonding curve will be set at around a 100K market cap.
2) Free launch, but stake 5,000 USDC. The developer will get it back only if the token reaches 1M market cap within one month after the launch. In this type of launch the bonding curve target is around 1M market cap.
In both types of launches the default creator fee is 0%. However, the dev can choose to set up to 10% creator fees before launching. This will make the token transfer fees up to 10% as well on the smart contract. (We do not advise setting high creator fees, but if you need a budget for marketing and building, you can use creator fees rather than rug pulling.)
There are three types of supply, not just 1 billion:
1M
100M
1B
The deployer can choose the total supply for their token.
Traders and degens will enjoy a more profitable launchpad with less rug pulls and spam. The trading fees will be the lowest ever compared with other launchpads. Buy and sell transactions will be almost 10x faster and we are working to make them even smoother.
MoonPad is designed to decrease rug pull launches, increase high-quality launches, and bring PvE back to the market.

🚨 THE EU JUST ISSUED ENERGY LOCKDOWNS AND NOBODY IS CALLING IT WHAT IT IS
The European Commission is urging Europeans to work from home, drive less, and fly less because of the Gulf conflict.
EU Energy Commissioner Dan Jørgensen says this crisis won't end even if the war ends tomorrow.
Read that again.
"Even if peace is established tomorrow, we will not return to normal."
💀 This means the EU is permanently screwed. Not temporarily.
💀 No immediate supply shortages yet — but diesel and jet fuel are already under pressure.
💀 Global gas markets facing "increasing constraints." Electricity prices surging.
💀 26 of 27 EU member states are currently under infringement proceedings for failing to implement electricity market rules.
💀 Europe's grid is so outdated it can't even handle the renewables they already built — 120 GW of clean energy projects are at risk of being STRANDED.
⚠️ But here's what EU Energy Commissioner Jørgensen is NOT telling you:
The EU had cheap Russian energy. They chose to refuse it.
The EU had nuclear. They chose to phase it out.
Germany shut down its last nuclear plants in 2023.
