🚨 Rape culture doesn’t begin and end with an act of sexual violence.
It lives in the:
🔴 attitudes that excuse it
🔴 stereotypes that blame survivors
🔴 silence that protects perpetrators
There is #NoExcuse for abuse — or for the culture that lets rape culture persist.

patriarchy is a just very elaborate system for convincing fragile mediocre dangerous men that superiority is their honor but if you require someone to be on their knees to feel powerful or respected, there is something deeply distorted about your psyche as Toni would say. Oke.

Feminism doesn’t hate men! It opposes abuse, misogyny, sexism, sexual violence, femicide and exploitation. Good men aren’t threatened by that, because they oppose those things too. So if you feel personally attacked, maybe ask yourself why…
