Mate, I don't know why you bother with them. Unlike the Arsenal fanbase, many of whom are professionals who work in the sectors that allow us to analyse Man City's misdemeanours, half of them haven't got a qualification to rub together.

Notwithstanding the legal nuances of who ‘won’ in the #mcfc #epl set-to, I’m struggling to understand MCFC & their legal advisors’ ‘game strategy’ here. Bottom line is that the EPL is essentially a private association consisting of the member clubs and little else. 1/-

The more MCFC attempt to turn this into a pissing competition, the more likely it is that the majority of member clubs agree to react strongly. Aside from all that, the commercial value of the EPL basically derives from broadcast revenue. 3/-

The general drift of the Prem, Leicester aside, is that it’s getting less openly competitive year on year. Keep this up, it stops being a spectacle, people switch off and revenue streams dry up.
