In 40 years of doing/tracking/enabling innovation, there is not a single large innovation that I can find that came from an expert in the field they were innovating in (Tesla, SpaceX, Amazon, FB/Twitter/Youtube, Genentech, Impossible, AirBnB, AWS, Waymo.... onl minor innovations

agreed. I too have never met an technical expert outside of Tesla who expressed real confidence in Tesla’s FSD strategy, nor ranked them among those most likely to succeed—and this despite the impressive amount of data they have collected.
