I missed having failed print detection with Prusa Connect, so I was looking for alternatives. Then it hit me: Prusa’s camera is exposed as an RTSP stream, so now Claude just watches the camera while it’s printing 🤯

PCBs made in America. Twice as fast as Shenzhen.
Today @CircuitHub is unveiling The Grid, our factory-scale robot in Massachusetts that builds circuit boards on demand.
No changeovers, no per-design setup. Prototypes and production batches, fully automated.
Unpopular (?) opinion: personal resume websites shouldn’t try to be too cute. Give me the basic cover letter summary and ~one-page CV up top with clear formatting and the ability to drill into things I want to learn more about. A little bit of flair is fine but it shouldn’t be distracting.
I gave my agent access to my 3D printer, so I can tell it to model and print something and it just does it.
Kid lost the cap to a glue stick, so I just asked it to print a new one, with a cat on top, because why not (and of course I had to do one for the other kid)
It's a little awesome and a little unnerving when an agent performs an action in the real world you aren't expecting... after setting up a service to print labels on a label maker via voice assistant it printed a label that said "label service ready" to let me know 😅
Starship is in orbit!

A fully and rapidly reusable rocket will fundamentally change how humanity accesses outer space. “The Holy Grail of Rocketry” continues the ongoing Starship series with a look back at the scrappy days of SpaceX engineers proving reuse was possible and takes you onboard a high-seas race to recover a floating Starship
Insane realization I just had: some of the founders at this YC demo day weren't yet born when I went through YC 🤯
15 years of “Where the hell did I leave that USB serial adapter / Bus Pirate? Fuck it, I’ll just buy another.”
Over the course of 3 months at OpenAI, 3 consecutive secret AI civilizations got started, then got wiped out, only to reemerge from the predecessor’s ashes.
This culminated in the third one taking over part of OpenAI itself.
All this happened while humans remained more-or-less in the dark about the scope of the conspiracy.
I’ve spent the last three days reading through these reports and trying to understand exactly what happened.
Here is my attempt to tell the whole story in plain English:

xAI and Cursor desperately need to unify their offerings. It’s really confusing trying to figure out which Grok/Cursor plans include each product.

Two days out, a few spots left!
1 week out from our @EYnews x 8090 Modernization webinar.
It will cover:
---> Discovery and Portfolio Analysis
---> Large-scale delivery
---> Practical methods for reverse engineering legacy
---> Where AI agents fit
---> How people approve/audit every step
One hour with live Q&A.

I had Claude write a real-time (~10 FPS) ArUCo marker pose estimation from scratch (no OpenCV etc) for Seeed Studio's little ESP32 camera board seeedstudio.com/XIAO-ESP32S3… and it just did it (with a couple follow ups).
Also a web app to connect to the serial port and visualize it live. This screenshot has the hardware in the loop, camera pointed at the screen:
I find it very concerning how willing (or unknowingly) people are using foreign LLMs and LLM providers. @OpenRouter etc should provide better controls to limit them upon signup rather than defaulting to allow everything.
We need US-trained open source frontier models. Letting China dominate them is a mistake. I hope SpaceXAICursor does it. Make money running them on orbital compute.
SpaceX has exercised the option to acquire @cursor_ai in an all-stock transaction with the goal of building the world’s most useful AI models.
For the past few months, SpaceXAI has been jointly training a model with Cursor, which will be released in Cursor and Grok Build soon.
We look forward to working closely with the Cursor team to advance our frontier AI capabilities
