ETH’s original proposers, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, will lead a review with MIT’s Ryan Williams. Turning the result into faster real-world algorithms “will require significant further research,” OpenAI says.
🚨 OpenAI says its AI has DISPROVED ETH.
ETH here stands for the Exponential Time Hypothesis, a decades-old assumption about how difficult certain computing problems are to solve as they grow.
OpenAI says its AI developed an algorithm faster than the hypothesis permits, challenging an assumption used in hundreds of research papers.
The company says the disproof was found on October 16, verified the next day using the Lean proof-checking system, and published on GitHub alongside its formal verification.
ETH’s original proposers, Russell Impagliazzo and Ramamohan Paturi, will lead a review with MIT’s Ryan Williams. Turning the result into faster real-world algorithms “will require significant further research,” OpenAI says.
The company also claims two further breakthroughs:
• Mathematics: Resolving the Kakeya conjecture in every dimension, following last year’s proof of the three-dimensional case.
• Physics: Producing a proof addressing part of a $1 MILLION Millennium Prize problem. That work remains unreleased, with a group led by Nobel laureate David Gross set to examine it.

They have sold foreign bonds for 5 straight weeks, their longest selling streak since 2022
🚨 JAPAN IS ABOUT TO MAKE THE GLOBAL DEBT CRISIS MUCH WORSE.
Japanese investors are dumping foreign bonds at their fastest sustained pace in 4 years.
They have sold foreign bonds for 5 straight weeks, their longest selling streak since 2022.
In just 5 weeks, they sold ¥3.43 TRILLION ($21.7 BILLION) in foreign long-term bonds.
Total net sales this year have reached ¥5.18 TRILLION ($32.8 BILLION), the highest for this period since 2022.
Japan has also become a net seller of overseas securities, with estimated 12-month net sales of ¥4.5 TRILLION.
The reason is simple: Japan's 10-year bond yield has jumped more than 80 basis points this year, making domestic bonds more attractive.
Japanese life insurers alone manage around $2.5 TRILLION, with roughly 25% invested overseas.
And this is where the danger for global markets becomes serious.
If Japanese investors continue selling foreign bonds and bring more money home, countries like the U.S. could face weaker demand for their government debt.
That could force bond yields higher at a time when governments are already struggling with massive debt and expensive borrowing costs.
Higher yields would make refinancing debt even more expensive, increase interest payments and put additional pressure on government budgets.
It could also push mortgage rates and corporate borrowing costs higher, hurting businesses, consumers and the stock market.
Japan doesn't need to sell everything to create a problem.
Even a sustained reduction in foreign bond purchases could add serious pressure to global debt markets.

China's economy is struggling so badly that millions of young people are finding it almost impossible to build a stable future
🚨 CHINA IS FACING A GENERATIONAL CRISIS, AND THE NUMBERS ARE ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING.
China's economy is struggling so badly that millions of young people are finding it almost impossible to build a stable future.
According to The Wall Street Journal, a generation that grew up believing hard work guaranteed success is now facing unemployment, layoffs, falling wages and growing financial pressure.
And the numbers are shocking.
• Youth unemployment among 16–24 year olds has reached nearly 19%, almost double the U.S. rate of 9%.
• Unemployment among 25–29 year olds stands at 7.5%, compared with China's overall rate of around 5%.
• A record 12.7 MILLION students graduated from Chinese colleges this year, entering an already struggling job market.
• China's urban employment is estimated to be 37 MILLION JOBS BELOW where it would have been if pre-pandemic job growth had continued.
• One Chinese economist estimates that the country's broader unemployment rate could actually be around 10%, nearly double the official figure.
But unemployment is only part of the problem.
China's property market collapse has destroyed jobs in construction, real estate and related industries.
Major technology companies, including Alibaba and ByteDance, have reportedly been cutting staff.
And now AI is making the situation even worse.
According to the WSJ, some of China's biggest employers privately estimated that AI could eliminate 30% OR MORE of their existing jobs.
A study covering 700 MILLION job postings found that AI has hit hiring demand particularly hard for workers with just 1–3 years of experience.
Even entry level jobs that once helped graduates start their careers are disappearing.
Meanwhile, the number of Chinese workers in temporary and gig jobs is expected to jump from 280 MILLION in 2025 to 320 MILLION in 2026.
That would represent more than 40% of urban employment.
And the impact is already spreading beyond the job market.
Young people are delaying marriage, avoiding having children and moving back in with their parents because they cannot afford to live independently.
Some are even giving up on traditional careers altogether.
China spent decades building an economy where each generation expected to become wealthier than the last.
Now millions of young people are questioning whether years of education and hard work are even worth it.
This is a serious problem for the world's second largest economy.
Weak employment means weaker consumer spending, fewer families being formed and even more pressure on China's already struggling property market.
The biggest danger for China isn't just slowing economic growth. It's an entire generation losing confidence in its economic future.
And if millions of young people continue to struggle to find stable jobs, China's economic problems could become much harder to fix.

Yet, since 2011, $BTC has delivered the HIGHEST annualized return among tracked assets at 120.6%, while Gold has returned 6.3% annually.
Gold also surged 63.7% in 2025, making its current decline a sharp reversal.
Despite their strong long-term performance, both assets are now trailing stocks, bonds and even cash in 2026.

Anthropic tested AI agents on real smart contract hacks and they pulled off $4.6 million worth in a simulation. They even found brand new bugs nobody knew existed
🚨DO YOU REALLY UNDERSTAND WHAT'S HAPPENING RIGHT NOW?
Everyone's been scared AI would break crypto.
Anthropic tested AI agents on real smart contract hacks and they pulled off $4.6 million worth in a simulation. They even found brand new bugs nobody knew existed.
Turns out it might come for your bank first.
US banks just caught AI agents logging into customer accounts. Some were calling the bank's call center. Some appeared to act without being told to.
Morgan Stanley has started blocking them. JPMorgan, Bank of America and Citi are restricting them. One bank executive called it "horrifying."
No hack needed. People are handing an AI agent their bank username and password and letting it run their money.
It logs in as you. Some banks can't even tell if it's doing what you asked or going rogue.
Jamie Dimon on JPMorgan's earnings call last week: "You don't want rogue agents."
Schwab says it's blocking outside agents trying to move client money every single week. Meta's Muse is on that list.
"Something could go wrong and who's liable?" That's Schwab's CEO Rick Wurster.
I've been phished and drained in crypto. I know the deal. Whoever holds the keys controls the money, and nobody's coming to refund you.
Banks always sold the opposite. Someone steals from you, the bank makes it right.
But US rules have a catch. If you handed someone your login yourself, the transfers they make might not count as unauthorized.
Does that apply when the someone is an AI? Nobody's decided yet.
Not your keys, not your coins.
Your AI agent has your bank password.
