As part of our commitment to extending the life of existing equipment & building a smarter, more reliable grid, we’re continuing to use local demand response as a grid solution. This means eligible Toronto Hydro customers are paid to reduce power usage during periods of peak demand.
To enable easier participation, our collaborators at @tmuCUE have developed a web-based platform that will simplify customer sign-ups for summer 2025.
