Miniscule compared to what American Nationalists have endured for decades, but also not insubstantial by any reasonable measure. It is probably safe to assume that this is just the tip of the iceberg.
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is running one of the largest anti-left-wing surveillance operations in U.S. history, according to WIRED.
Attorneys for 15 Minnesota residents facing federal conspiracy charges have obtained records showing HSI conducted sweeping spying on left-wing activists under operations including Project Whipple Shield and Operation Puppet Master, authorized by National Security Presidential Memorandum 7. President Donald Trump signed the memorandum in September 2025, following the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk.
The effort, which experts compare to COINTELPRO, involved roughly 120 HSI agents, including 11 undercovers, who infiltrated activist groups, churches, martial arts trainings, marches, and Signal chats. Agents used Reaper drones and PATRIOT Act-era tools, photographed vehicles, and monitored conferences in other cities. Prosecutors claim the defendants organized to impede ICE during Operation Metro Surge; defense attorneys say the charges criminalize lawful protest.
Newly disclosed DHS records detail undercover agents posing as community members. One, using the Signal username โpeanutbutterjelly,โ attended โICE watchโ and legal observer trainings, screenshot protest plans, offered help with fundraising and flyers, and reported no threats to public safety.
Other agents photographed demonstrators, trailed individuals to coffee shops and churches, and attended meetings of groups like the Sunrise Movement and the Party for Socialism and Liberation, where discussions focused on peaceful protest. A DHS spokesperson declined to comment on specific methods.

Up front, my guy says Bolsanaro won. My personal political proclivities lie in his direction, as far as my understanding of Brazilian politics goes, which is not far at all. I'm glad he made it out with his family, as a family man myself.
Fleeing the country is a tacit admission of defeat. There is no other logical way to interpret it. The moment he boarded that plane, a clock started counting down. Defeat is never permanent until the currently defeated accept it.
If a political leader flees his country, he can either raise an army and support to return in or for triumph, he can attempt to take over the country that hosts him, or he can find a new life as a former leader. That's really it.
That counting down clock consists of a number of other clocks, some counting down and others counting up. What happens in the next hours, days, and weeks will demonstrate where Bolsanaro is headed vis a vis the 3 Options.
Within each of those options, there is a spectrum of being.
Let's say Bolsanaro returns to Brazil with an army, seeking triumph. If it is an army of Brazilians with any number of foreign legionaries in tow, he would become the ruler of a sovereign Brazil. If it's an army A foreigners, then it gets a little more murky.
If the Apple has not Fallen far from the tree, I expect him to find comfortable accommodations, probably in Florida, and spend the rest of his days talking about woulda/coulda/shoulda. Betting on nothing happening is usually a pretty safe bet.
But, we are also fully back in History. I do believe the appetite and inclination is present in the Trump regime for a valid and worthwhile regime change in Brazil. I think it comes down to mettle & motivation.
I've never been the leader of a Nation, nor have I ever been a Brazilian. But I think that if it were me, I wouldn't be in the United States, I would be somewhere in the Amazon getting ready to do whatever it takes to get the crown I demand and deserve.
Here is an English translation of the statement Flรกvio Bolsonaro just released:
I address the Brazilian people and the international community as the true president-elect of Brazil.
First of all, I would like to thank President Milei for his courage, sense of justice and respect for the law, and President Trump and the wonderful American people for welcoming me. This is a land of liberty and of brothers who share the same values as the good people of my country. President Trump is a great defender of freedom of expression.
On Sunday night, I watched in horror as electoral fraud unfolded before my eyes. The illegitimate and illegal actions of Lulaโs former lawyer allowed a mathematical impossibility to become reality, with Lula gaining more than 10 million votes between the first and second rounds. A ruling by the Federal Supreme Court (STF), overriding the jurisdiction of the Superior Electoral Court (TSE), extended voting at the last minute, and the order arrived only after the legal closing time, when the polls had already closed. Voters were subjected to different rules. So far, the TSE has confined itself to defending the extension of voting hours, without providing even a single credible answer. And these procedural violations are not the only problem. Throughout the campaign, there were abuses of political and economic power and use of the state apparatus in support of reelection. These are serious acts, expressly prohibited by law, that justify annulling the election of the LulaโAlckmin ticket.
The regimeโs response to my challenge came swiftly. As if following a prearranged plan, seven minutes after this repugnant electoral fraud, the judge set the regimeโs machinery of political persecution in motion. This judge is implicated in an enormous corruption scandal and directly named in the investigation he used to try to seize my passports. He would very likely be in prison had they not prevented me from taking office. He was legally disqualified from the outset and clearly lacks the impartiality required to initiate any judicial proceedings against me. His mere participation in the proceedings reveals the extent of the arbitrary and unlawful conduct underway.
It was not my intention to leave my homeland, but I know exactly where this is heading. This is the classic playbook for a coup dโรฉtat. The political persecution that began with my father, former president Jair Bolsonaro, and spread to thousands of other ordinary, patriotic Brazilians and even American citizens has a single objective: to silence anyone who disagrees with the regime operating outside the rule of law that has been established in Brazil through a Supreme Court captured by the Workersโ Party criminal organization.
To be clear, there is no arrest warrant against me, because I have committed no crime. What exists is a politically motivated witch hunt intended to make me a hostage and a target of blackmail to protect the corrupt Supreme Court justices from impeachment. Here is the persecution playbook: passport confiscation, an electronic ankle monitor, censorship, house arrest, a sham trial and, finally, a politically motivated conviction.
I will not subject my family to this, and my country does not deserve to suffer this international humiliation again. Faced with the political weaponization of Brazilโs justice system, I brought my family to the United States, where we are safe. Once again, I thank President Trump and the American government for welcoming us and giving us the legal protections we no longer have in Brazil.
I want to be clear: I did not flee Brazil; I left for Brazilโs sake. I left a regime operating outside the rule of law so I could be the leader my people deserve. Silenced, imprisoned and censored, as my father is, I could not provide that leadership, and we would be left at the mercy of the institutional theater of an emasculated opposition controlled by a Supreme Court full of the regimeโs lackeys.
I predicted that the 21st century would be an Age of authoritarianism. Those that disagreed possibly did so because the images borne of Hollywood regarding such things strain credulity among those that think with their brains. Understandable.
Nevertheless, I am correct.
There will be 2 general types of authoritarian government: Honest and Occluded.
The Honest Authoritarians will be nations that have a tangible history in living memory of the obvious trappings of such a governance structure. Their elites won't be embarrassed by the pastiche.
The Occluded Authoritarians have a tougher row to hoe. There elites will require stupendous amounts of rhetorical & spiritual gymnastics so they can maintain the delusion that they are not, in fact, authoritarian societies. Rather, they will be *temporarily inconvenienced liberal democracies*.
Their sacred democracy will be sorely beset by natural disasters. The will be troubled by traitors & malcontents. They will be hard pressed by external enemies, forever scheming to bring evil and woe. In the face of these challenges, they will be forced to take the regrettable but necessary steps to safeguard the foundations of their egalitarian (superior) ways of life. Thus...
Authoritarian.
Whole cultural artifices will be laboriously and elaborately constructed to prove to all and sundry that these unfortunate emergency powers are temporary, fleeting even!, just impermanent setbacks and regrettable delays on the march towards a more perfect Tomorrow.
The days of emergency will turn to months of struggle, which in turn will become years of sacrifice. Before long, the highest expression of devotion to Our Shared & Precious Democratic Values will be the vigour with which one pursues the maintenance of the Emergency Powers.
This shouldn't be hard to imagine; it's exactly what happened when the unspecified virus of unknown origin came to attack our sacred health & welfare. Fear not, fellow traveler.
It should only take about 2 weeks to flatten the opposition.

I would like to point out that many scoffed when *certain folks* pointed out that the DOJ not really responding with info in the wake of the searches & seizures was absolutely 4D chess intended to snare DNC politicians in a rhetorical box canyon.
#BREAKING: Dozens of House Democrats abandon Ilhan Omar amid immigration probe.
This is very true, but there's a further realization to be had:
Even when the situation doesn't escalate into gratuitous, pointless adult toddler violence, the torrents of verbal abuse & disrespect LEOs deal with constantly is staggering.
While blacks tend to be the rudest, every subset & type of person feels like they have carte blanche to say whatever comes to mind the millisecond they feel inconvenienced. If it appears they may be deprived of 5 minutes of time, they will eagerly burn 20 minutes complaining about it.
This, in my opinion, is niggerish behavior. Of course it doesn't absolve the police of overstepping or hiring women; those problems have to be addressed. But it is worth thinking about just how awful almost everybody speaks to, and reacts with, law enforcement, particularly when they know they are in the wrong.
I used to review officer-involved shooting reports generated by a D.A. explaining the decision to exonerate officers, and recall often thinking โI mean, could that *really* be how it went down?โ I suspected there may be some fog of war or selective memory or post-hoc justification to give the officer a rational justification and paint the victim in a negative, irrational light.
But with the post-2020 adoption of body cams, I now believe it all. There is no behavior too insane for a huge number of suspects when confronted with literally any command by an officer requesting some form of compliance.
Even I thought body cams would shine a light on some substantial percentage of clear officer abuse, but itโs clearly negligible, while dangerous and erratic behavior by suspects is widespread. It is impossible to overstate how wrong BLM and reform activists were on this count.
I don't recommend the arts or artistic endeavors to anyone. It's quite literally fake and gay right now, and the type of swill & dross being put forward as sophisticated or worthy is genuinely depressing.
But, for the few & damned condemned to the artistic proclivity, there is really only one thing you have to do to make things worth contemplating.
You have to Care.
This is simple; simple is not easy. Complicated and complex is actually easy, because you can almost endlessly subdivide the components and processes to systematically work through the problem. When the problem is simple, you have to figure out a simple solution and execut it flawlessly.
You just have to Care.
You have to care about it more than your peers, more than your audience, more than family and friends and lovers and strangers. You have to care about it so much that nothing in your demeanor or presentation indicates how much you care, because the heedless inclination has suffused itself to your very being.
Right now, it is very popular to portray ambivalence, to project apathy, to act and be cynical and sarcastic and non-committal and unimpressed by everything.
This is terribly gay and a bad idea.
You need to be care-maxxing. You need to be hopelessly addicted to child-like wonder at all things natural and beautiful, powerless in the face of that which aesthetically satisfies.
This is not sufficient to the act of creating, but it is necessary. It is the foundation that will never fail you. Of course you must build the structures of discipline and taste and sophistication on top of it, but if you don't have the foundation of Caring, you are wasting your time and should go be a plumber or stonksman.

Christians must have an answer to this accusation.
This atheist is correct about evangelicals like Joel Berry: they have the same perspective that an illegal alien or invading army might have. Christians think "the world is not my home" and therefore they become traitors.
True Christianity is not this way. In scripture Paul says if a Christian does not care for his own people then "he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel."
When the Jews were captured and enslaved in Babylon God told them to "seek the peace of the city whither I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the prosperity thereof shall ye have prosperity.โ
Godโs people should seek the good of the place where they live, even when the surrounding society is not faithful to God. How much more should God's people seek the good of a Christian Nation.
Modern Christianity destroyed this and taught Christians to ignore "secular" issues and focus on the "sacred." If you really want to follow Jesus, you need to be a pastor or a missionary. If you become a dentist or politician then you are a lesser Christian because your concern is on the physical and not the spiritual.
That is all bunk. Every last bit of the physical world is inextricably entangled with the spiritual. A Christian dentist is not only secular labor. The Holy Ghost infuses a Christian's work so that dentistry, politics, and every other endeavor is sacred.
The Christian Nation is a holy people, set apart from the world of chaos and despair. The Christian must pray, love, fight, and die for such a nation.
It is not a Christian virtue to be a traitor.
Thank you for removing the mask, Joel. Even if it may have been inadvertent.
You have, of course, simply confirmed what I said in the first place.
You are not an American Patriot.
You are a Christian Globalist.
Sey is a member of your tribe, and I am not. America is not your homeland, it's just where you keep your stuff. You do not feel loyalty to Americans, any more than you would feel loyalty to the guy who rents the storage unit adjacent to yours.
The same goes for Western Civilization as a whole. The ethos of illegals who defy American custom and law, who disrespect the American people, by sneaking into our homeland to profit from us, makes complete sense to you. Because it is your ethos as well.
You live in America not because America is special to you, or because you feel you owe it, and us, anything at all. You simply live America because it is comfortable and profitable to do so.
Unfortunately, this is not currently considered sufficient legal grounds to deport you to wherever the homeland of Christian Globalists is, Ghana or Bethlehem or the afterlife, whatever. Up to you.
So we can't rid ourselves of you just yet. But what puzzles me is why you think that membership in the Christian Globalist Tribe somehow gives you the legal and moral right to hand out tickets to America.
The bible does not come with a green card stapled to it.
America, and the right to hand out tickets to it, belongs to Americans. And, by your own admission, you are not one. That's what you said.
Now, I'm sure that saying you are a citizen of the kingdom of god has a nice ring to it, and your Christian Globalist friends may all have clapped when you said it.
But, unlike America, the kingdom of god is an idea. You haven't built it yet. You can't point to it on a map. And, while I'm sure you can think of lots of fine poetic-sounding metaphorical retorts about the kingdom of god living in the hearts of Christians everywhere, or something, you cannot actually go and live in that metaphor, because it's not a place, and it's not zoned for residential.
We have to keep the physical place we live nice, and we are doing that the way humans have always done that โ by physically controlling our borders and who gets to cross them.
But you are not interested in these kinds of adult responsibilities. You are not interested in stewardship of the temporal earth, or the people on it. You have rejected this in favor of a lifestyle where your only responsibility is to love Jesus with the maximum possible intensity, and to miss no opportunity to tell everyone just how much you love him.
Frankly, if I were Jesus, which I am very much fucking not, I would find this slightly creepy, and quietly ask you to maybe tone it down just a bit.
But my concern is not the nature of your relationship with Jesus. I wouldn't even know about that relationship if you didn't insist on praying loudly on street corners.
My concern is the future of America, the future of Western Civilization, and the future of humanity, all of which are intertwined, and all of which will suffer if you are allowed to sneak open borders in the back door, concealed in a hollowed-out bible.
"thank you for giving, but please give more, and if you've given more, then you probably have more to give, so give more, dig deep in your wallet, and just keep giving, because if you keep giving your money to wealthy black illegals, you'll buy your way into Heaven."

Southern Baptists are an amazing group of people with many staunch nationalists, obedient wives, devoted mothers, and promising children.
But, like every other subset of Real Americans, we also have far too many pudgy, feminized, spiritual faggots.
I'm not going to excuse our failings just because they are widely shared. This nitwit is the consequence of an insurgency that is currently consuming the SBC, and there are many more free radicals just like him, plaguing this particular member of the Body of Christ.
It is on our heads to identify these cancerous individuals and beat them into submission the same way Paul would have.
Every female in politics is a progressive. You just have to wait for them to tell you sometimes.

We have to internalize this:
The Pet Minority will always drink deeply of your compassion, take everything offered, and spare not a single thought for your rules, your culture, or your customs. They will prostrate themselves when it seems like it will work, and on a dime excoriate you for your villainous privilege.
If this freeloader is allowed to return, he will immediately commence with victory laps and preaching of his own sanctimonious purity and your despicable inadequacy.
This dynamic is larger than any single instance or person. There is not a single modern migrant that came to our Home as a Settler, the way our ancestors did. Every single one figured out that there was an Easier Path available, a way to dispense with effort, patience, and loyalty to "build" something worth "having." Only the cowardly, weak, and greedy migrate.
Are there no churches, no schools, no bodies of believers in his home country? Of course there are. But there isn't a murmuring mass of fawning patrons ready to provide a constant stream of monetary support and dimwitted adoration on any black with a tie and intelligible English. And there's a distinct lack of, shall we say, "Fair Companionship" in +50% Christian Ghana.
Panhandlers hate you.
They hate that you exist.
You can give them 10ยข, $10, $10,000, it makes no difference. They may shuck & jive in your general direction for a bit, but they will smoothly pivot to the next sap, jiggle their little sign bemoaning their woes, and wait for another clink in the coin cup.
It is not a sin to demand the law be followed, nor is it sinful to have a Home we call our own.
