“Go and get a job” shouts @NickFerrariLBC on @LBC about the disabled. Does he know how many fit and healthy folk are chasing too few min wage vacancies? And why does he NEVER tackle employers about their appalling attitude towards employing disabled people?

Yes you read that right
🗓️ Fifth-tier Johnstone Burgh say they have even offered to play one of the two matches immediately after the other, but were unable to get this arranged.
🏴 Earlier this season, sixth-tier Armadale Thistle were forced to play two matches on the same day.
Johnstone Burgh will play Tayport in the Scottish Communities Cup on 21 November at 14:30... and Dunipace in the Lowland League Cup at 15:00.

If you're a chief executive on a telephone number salary, at least have the grace not to complain about the taxes that fund the benefits your workers have to claim because you refuse to pay them enough to live on
The government says we all need to prepare for adversity individually but I have yet to see any pictures from Scotland of armed services/ territorials/ councils sandbagging in advance of #StormBoelo which we knew about days ago. Make it make sense.

The central belt is fairly getting rattled with this storm.
Some scary gusts throughout the night and this morning.
No it’s not the Forth & Clyde canal this is the Argyle line under water at Dalmarnock

The full force of #StormBoelo hits Largs. Businessowner Toni Dawson of Geraldo's said: "We are trying to protect our businesses from this disaster but we can't even get into our shops right now - god knows how much stock we have lost."
#StormBeolo may be raging outside, but I’ve got hot choc, cake, a furry throw and the chance to recite “This Happy Breed” on @TalkingPicsTV for the umpteenth time. All together now….
Eggs make me throw up. Can we get the vegan Scotch egg recipe on the website, please? @SaturdayKitchen

It’s that time of the year again where all the extra plinths get placed in front of shelving for Xmas, which coupled with general poor & thoughtless management of shop floor space means that unless you can shape shift you are royally #DisabledByTheSupermarkets

Sainsbury's has posted an annual profit of £1.02bn.
It current has 10,000 young people working for free, paid by you.
With £1.02bn it could hire 105,905 people aged 18-20 for 16 hours a week all year.
Why not MAKE the scumbags hire instead of giving them free workers?

On this day in 1971, on a typical rainy October afternoon with shoppers wandering the length of the shopping parade at Clarkston Toll, a blast killed 22 people and injured 100 more in Scotland's worst peace-time explosion.

Literally a Year ago @andyburnham sat with @MassiveAttackUK and signed the Fossil Fuel non-proliferation treaty "to end, coal, oil and gas and hold polluters accountable"
Today he has just signed off a brand new Gas-field in the North Sea.
Shameful
