I think I'll host a Zoom tomorrow to present the Safe C++ stuff I've been working on. I need to get informed people up to speed with what I have so there can be a discussion on some of the finer, unresolved points about integrating safety into C++.
How does 10am EST sound?

RETWEET if you are cis and know that #CisIsNotASlur.
I have spoken at CppCon in the past. I will not do so again, or attend, unless this is sorted out satisfactorily. I fully support Patricia's stance on this and have signed her open letter.

I've done a lot of travel lately. Mostly directly because of #cplusplus. I think I'm going to try this:
1 observation / factoid about places I've been to for reach retweet.
I'll start with random observations about drinking water, see how far that goes.

Unfortunately there almost certainly won't be a Pacific++ in 2019. If we were to come back in 2020, what is your preference?

The first meetup for 2019 will be on Wednesday the 27th of February at the WhereScape Auckland office. No presentations planned yet, so we'll just share C++ news and catch up. meetup.com/Auckland-C-Meetup…
