This started as a note to myself and turned into something longer.

Not gonna lie, I have had very few issues with Starlink wifi and Starlink Mini and I would be compelled to ditch Verizon even though they are pretty good now for the years when they were horrible. I ‘member…
We announced an agreement to acquire a nationwide low-band spectrum license portfolio that will pave the way for @Starlink to become a major mobile carrier in the US.
With this new spectrum and our Gen2 constellation, Starlink Mobile can ensure Americans have access to high-speed mobile broadband no matter where they are → spacex.com/updates#starlink-…

tl;dr I'll build them a website for free and only charge a nominal amount each month for hosting and to make unlimited updates to the site: yourwebsitepeople.com/
We went through a long planning process while redesigning the @BuySellAds website
Claude basically one shotted it
Yet you are out on the street protesting data centers that enable this incredible manufactured intelligence because…? Please, tell me your reasons.
It's OK, we forgive you @notch 🤝
Notch says using AI to write code is a bad idea and anyone advocating for it is "incompetent or evil."
I respect Notch - Minecraft is one of the most impressive solo dev achievements ever. But I think he's making a pattern recognition error.
His argument is that coding is "about logic, not typing." I agree. That's actually the strongest case for AI-assisted development, not against it.
We've seen this debate before. Assembly programmers thought high-level languages were for people who didn't understand what was really happening. Each new abstraction layer sparked the same fear: are we outsourcing our thinking? Every time, the answer was no - we were freeing ourselves to think about harder problems.
AI follows this pattern. You're still responsible for the logic and architecture. The AI handles more of the translation from intent to implementation. The thinking doesn't disappear. It moves up.
Yes, AI is non-deterministic in a way compilers aren't. That's a real difference. But it's an argument for rigorous review, not for abandoning the tool.
"I didn't need it" is not the same as "you shouldn't use it."
I've been using @superpower for about 6 months now. It's helped me easily navigate some health related decisions and better coach my Dr through a small "getting old" thing that I had to deal with at the beginning of summer.
Yes, you read that right, coach my Dr through it.
The thing is, you know your body better than anyone else, but the only time you get to talk to an expert is for the 15 minutes when you're in front of a Dr. It's hard for them, and you, to get everything right in those short windows.
What Superpower has helped me do is gather more context, get more questions answered, be better prepared when I do have those 15 minutes in front of my Dr, and take better control of certain things that I can control myself without my Dr.
Highly recommend.
ANNOUNCING: Sequoia has launched Superpower for its own 800+ employees.
And through our new partnership, Superpower is now available to eligible employers across Sequoia's ecosystem of more than 2,500 companies.
Members get:
- Comprehensive biomarker testing
- A longitudinal view of their health
- Personalized recommendations
- 24/7 Health AI and clinical support
For employers, that means moving healthcare further upstream, before risk becomes a diagnosis or an expensive claim.
As we all know, healthcare has a timing problem. We start paying serious attention to our health only when something goes wrong.
We built Superpower around a different idea:
Give people an extensive understanding of their health earlier – then help them continuously act on it.
Eligible Sequoia clients that want to launch before the end of the year get a special opportunity to get started.
This is another step toward making proactive healthcare available to millions more people.
We're just getting started.
Kevin was right that @Digg deserved better than what we were doing with it at the time.
But now, we're ~18 months into him buying it back, three relaunches and one bot apocalypse later... I'm just glad we agree it's harder than it looks.
Still rooting for it. But if you want out, happy to buy it back. I'll send a few BTC - that's like 4x what you paid.
It's a shame what's happened to @digg, the site is counting clicks as votes? Very odd. I'd like to buy it and return it to the old v2 before the redesign. I'll offer you $1M, which is 4x the purchase price.

I’m really proud of the @GAMdotAI team. So much has gone into this, and we have come so far over the last 10 months. A lot that the team should be proud of, and quite a bit left for us to do.
The beginning something truly great.
