It’s been 48 years since this photo was taken of me standing at a McDonald’s, turning 8 years old. A couple months later, I would be back in the hospital for most of six months, unable to walk because of two tumors (my eighth and ninth) in my left hip. As a child, I never thought I would see adulthood because I was constantly on chemotherapy and radiational therapy and going through surgery, I had nine surgeries, including a spinal fusion, before I was nine. Childhood absolutely sucked and life seemed like a never-ending medical emergency. Then I smoked some cannabis with my mom and my perspective changed, I went into a spontaneous remission and did not have another tumor until I was 15 years old and it would be my last. This may sound crazy to some, but I feel like my cancer experience was a wonderful lesson that was impossible to appreciate while it was happening, but as an adult, I am grateful I went through it, as the perspective I gained from it was an education I couldn’t receive in any school. The last time I had cancer, I was using a lot of LSD. which I feel helped me develop a very optimistic perspective that I have carried through my life. Since this photo was taken in 1978, life has been an incredible adventure that I am very grateful to have had. Life is short, no matter how much time we get, and as a child who had as many tumors as I had, it is a lesson I’ll never forget. Carpe diem quam minimum credula postero.

A competitor, Heston Allcorn of Florofarm, has been spreading completely false and extremely damaging accusations against me — including calling me a pedophile. These vicious lies are 100% untrue and have zero basis in reality. I have already sent him a direct and detailed response holding him accountable and am now consulting with legal counsel to take all necessary steps to protect my reputation. I have spent decades in this industry building my name through hard work, integrity, and doing the right thing — even going to prison rather than compromise my principles. I will not allow cowardly internet smears to destroy that. False accusers will be held accountable.
