Due to the unique circumstances surrounding the launch of $ORDI via a thread on X, I took the initiative to document the post on-chain: ordinals.fractalbitcoin.io/c… ​The fact that @domodata deployed $ORDI on 2023-03-08 ​(04:16:31 UTC​) ​was already documented on the Bitcoin blockchain: ​ordinals.com/inscription/b61… ​However, to my knowledge, the fact that he publicly posted a thread about the experiment​ with a GitBook link to the definitive​ BRC20 Protocol ​white paper less than 24 hours later​, was not documented on-chain until today. ✍️🔗 In the interim between when $ORDI was deployed and when the public post was made, domo minted 1000 $ORDI and sent 100 of them to Satoshi's wallet — leaving him with a remaining balance of 900 $ORDI (and none of them have ever been sold): unisat.io/explorer/tx/628f01… These are the only tokens that were minted before domo made the public post with the GitBook link. Once the public post was made, it took about 45 minutes for public mint inscriptions to begin to be recorded on-chain (with the entire supply being minted out in approximately 20 hours). Therefore, the mint was freely available to everyone in the world who was capable of viewing posts on X. 🌎💻 The free-and-fair origin story of $ORDI completely encapsulates the immaculate-conception ethos of #Bitcoin such that the unique circumstances surrounding its creation can never be repeated. 🆓🟧 These are all provable facts that are now fully documented on-chain. {◉}
