Hopefully twitter commits to a solution that supports verification equally across all countries — all legitimate users deserve a voice.

If Twitter Blue accounts can charge more, complete ID verification with rigor and be privacy-minded, it's financially and socially responsible. Let the fake accounts move on elsewhere.
Hopefully paying user ≠ verified user. Twitter users on premium plans should only be granted a blue checkmark if they've completed a legitimate verification process.
Hopefully whatever solution Twitter arrives at, the price increase will go toward funding a blue check system that can verify users at scale - this seems to have been one of the problems at Twitter in pre-Musk era.
