Images from a new film which launches this Thursday. I look forward to a train/bike journey to Ayr, the film will be live on my YouTube channel from 1pm. This was a great project to work on last June - I really hope the Culzean Way becomes reality! youtube.com/reizkultur

Last month Eddie Dempsey from the @RMTunion explained how, when Railtrack was nationalised, the govt forced NetworkRail to fund spending by issuing bonds. They now owe £25bn & pay £2bn/yr interest, which is more than they spend on maintaining the railways!

If the Nazis had been literal monsters - other-worldly creatures with tentacles on their faces or something - it would be much more comfortable being human.

So, the free speech tsar will require me to tolerate transphobic, racist and misogynistic speakers while not challenging govt injunction to not teach critical race theory or use anti-capitalist resources? Almost as if it’s nothing to do with free speech at all...

No one should face criminal prosecution only for expressing themselves on social media or for singing something that may be distasteful or shocking. Expressions that do not clearly and directly incite violence cannot be criminalized.

The government, in a blatant attempt to distract us from its multiple failings, insists that a few hundred people in boats is the UK's biggest crisis. Almost every major news organisation then repeats and amplifies the story, giving the government exactly what it wants.
Sky News is following a fourth boat attempting to carry migrants across the English Channel into the UK this morning. Read more on this story here: trib.al/Th2Ix8E

There's rarely a bad time to step back and reflect on how we're working, but doing so in today's tough conditions could be essential to making sure you and your team are all coping. Thanks Jude!
