Ohio suspended the gas tax for 90 days, about $.60.
Prices dropped accordingly.
Three weeks later, prices are up by about $.50.
The wholesalers are playing us for suckers.
So why is it that politicians (Democrats in CA, Maine, Mn. and the GOP in Ohio) think that promoting and/or ignoring fraud committed by immigrants is acceptable behavior?
The analytics were so massively obvious that claiming ignorance just does not fly.
A blowup was inevitable.

Dealers cut the price for a few days.
Now the price is back up by $.30-.40.

Fun Fact
In Ohio you can drive a Mercedes or BMV AND have an EBT (food stamp) card as long as the list price of the car is not over $99,999.00. There is no limit on total assets.
Today at Aldis it was a white BMV SUV.
Immigrants seem to get less scrutiny.
