I waited 2 weeks for OpenAI to reject CiteWing's plugin 😅 They couldn't confirm that the verified individual or business owns it The email points to business verification or submitting from the verified owner's account Check the ownership details before you submit
Submitted CiteWing as a ChatGPT plugin 🤞 It's now in review with OpenAI Wish me luck

Here's how I make AI mention my SaaS: 1. Write useful content for keywords buyers search 2. Build relevant backlinks 3. Get mentioned on other websites 4. Publish LinkedIn articles + Reddit posts that can be indexed 5. Create original data and content worth citing You need to be consistent + do this for the long term Over time, this compounds and can significantly improve your visibility in AI search 📈

49.5% of AI overview answers cite YouTube find where a competitor's video gets cited, then make a 3 to 5 minute answer with chapters and you’re in the game
most AI visibility audits only check text pages. the source Google cites most in AI Overviews is a video site. SE Ranking's 100k keyword data (via Planable): YouTube shows up in 49.48% of AI Overview answers and is the #1 cited domain. the video gap check, 20 min: 1. list your 20 money queries that trigger an AI Overview 2. open each logged out, click every source, note which are YouTube and whose channel 3. competitor video cited = video gap. your page cited = leave it 4. for each gap, record a plain 3-5 min answer: say the answer in the first 30s, title it like the query, add chapters, fix the auto captions 5. embed it on the page that already ranks for that query, recheck in 2 weeks how many of your 20 have a YouTube citation? if you run AI search for clients, get on the Rank Season list. free every monday, first issue soon, plus exclusive access to a link trading community. link in bio

I see everyone talking about Grok Bot but still haven't tried it 👀 What are you actually using it for? Any use cases worth trying? Might finally give it a shot

I agree, Discord could be the next place SaaS buyers find us 👀 The opportunity I see: “what can I use instead of X?” I would answer with the tradeoffs: price, missing features and migration effort Give someone enough to choose, even if they never click your link
The hottest place to do SEO over the next couple of months is probably going to be Discord. "Discord will let public server messages be discoverable in Google Search. Starting November 16th, all discoverable servers will receive a server webpage. These public server webpages will include summaries of discussions happening in that public server. Starting in mid-December, some messages within these servers will be made publicly accessible on the server webpage. Other community platforms like Reddit have long benefited from search engine traffic as discussions on the platform tend to rank well for various user search queries on Google. Discord could also benefit from this." Reddit is nearly at an all-time high in clicks from Google search. They just had a little bit of a drop, but they're still at 1.8 billion clicks a month on Google Search. Reddit is also cited in AI a ton. This is what you're going to see. You're going to see people starting messages and entire servers on Discord with keywords- things people search. People are going to be linking to these webpages that represent entire servers or messages on a server. The backlinks will drive authority, which makes the pages show up higher. This is going to get quoted, cited, and recommended in AI a lot. People are going to go overboard. Just like with what happened at Digg at the beginning of the year, you're going to see a lot of servers get banned, a lot of users get banned. It got so bad for Digg at the beginning of the year, that Digg had to relaunch as an AI news aggregator because the SEO spam on it had gotten so out of control. Digg had their big relaunch. The SEO spam went crazy. They took everything down and relaunched as only an AI news aggregator. The marketers who win in the long term with this are going to be the ones who don't go crazy with SEO at the beginning. They create a legit community that has engagement. One out of 10 posts, one out of 20 posts are used for SEO. Discord, by the way, has a domain authority of 94 out of 100. That is some of the highest domain authority that you can have. There's also a pattern here. The most clicked websites in search are user-generated content platforms: YouTube, Reddit, TikTok, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X. Every marketer should be paying attention to this.

Before filling out 100+ directory forms, make one copy-paste doc 😅 Keep your product name, URL, short description and logo together Reuse it for each submission CiteWing now handles directory submissions too

SaaS is dead This month I keep seeing people rebuild 3–4 internal tools they used to pay for A few mornings or evenings with Claude If they can, so can your customers What is left? Distribution AI made building easy, it didn't make marketing free
