The Great Pandemic Robbery. How so much of the Β£22,000,000,000 for Test and Trace went to friends of the government, while Boris Johnson’s β€˜world beating’ system failed to protect the rest of us. The full story. SOUND ON

It's strange how many European leaders sound more intelligent in their second language than British cabinet ministers do in their first.

Can this be the end of it now?
Well, I do say it like that, but not because I think that’s how it’s actually pronounced

When did 'doing good' become something to be mocked and sneered at? Around the same time that being 'woke' ie. alert or aware of social injustice became a dirty word? Those who think do-gooders are something to ridicule need to take a long, hard look at themselves in the mirror.
Boris Johnson agrees with Priti Patel... the whole criminal justice system is being hamstrung by "lefty human rights lawyers & other do-gooders" #politicslive

Hey Boris, leave statues to us historians and the communities where the statues are. Perhaps you could focus on the pressing matter of our giant Covid death rate, the disproportionate deaths of BAME people and the suffering of our elderly in care homes.
Replying to @BorisJohnson
They had different perspectives, different understandings of right and wrong. But those statues teach us about our past, with all its faults. To tear them down would be to lie about our history, and impoverish the education of generations to come. 4/8
