I suspect you know a lot more than most of us 😃
Replying to @tomtebbutt
I’m quite disappointed that he didn’t use Greek characters, which of course are very prevalent in mathematics.
Stefanos Tsitsipas on camera after win > Fritz. "I'm not a huge fan of math myself," he says. "It was an assessment of today's match. X, Y and Z has been over-complicating things. In the end 1, 2 and 3 was easier than any of the other theories I might have had in the beginning."
For Canadian nighthawks:
Now on TSN2
Fernandez vs Alexandrova
On TSN5
Auger-Aliassime vs Carreno Busta
PLEASE - S'IL VOUS PLAIT
Greg Rusedski, who grew up in Montreal and speaks some French, is pronouncing Auger-Aliassime
"Oh-JURE-aliassime."
It's "Oh-ZHAY-aliassime."
Don't like to criticize - but he should be among the last to be mispronouncing it (doing Shapovalov-Tabilo now)!
RF - who else? Or maybe (beware oxymoron) a well-behaved John McEnroe.

how does X (twitter) allow this con nonsense onto the site - totally irresponsible and inexcusable.
It makes X complicit with the scam.

Asking the question is proof of ignorance and arrogance. Don't you understand people in France, Italy Japan, Australia etc. are deeply patriotic and wouldn't change to be American. In Canada, we don't have the 2nd amendment, we have choice for women and universal healthcare. Amen
No words required.
Also, it seems no one acknowledges the credible journalistic reporting done by Ben Rothenberg at the time. As with writing about politicians, you can either agree or disagree with the work. Some choose to do so, some do not.
WOW: This is how the end of a tennis match should be covered by TV - no gratuitous, unnecessary shots of anonymous people in the crowd applauding. Stay with the two players we've been watching, and getting involved with, for the past couple of hours. Bravo.
Bob Bedard turned 95 Monday. He won the Canadian championships (1955-57-58), was undefeated vs Canadians 1954-1964. In hockey, had a try-out with the NY Rangers. Fred Perry once said, "there's only one real athlete at Wimbledon, Bob Bedard. Just a shame he has such poor strokes."
US OPEN IMHO
The tennis schedule has been "intractable" for years. Best move was 2015 extra week between RG and Wimbledon. Late nights are a USO signature. A 6 pm evening start would help, even if inconvenient for some.
86 'faff' before matches. About 90 mins saved would be good
US OPEN 2026
Some tennis writers may be more knowledgeable about fashion, but for this one Naomi Osaka's outfit is one of the more attractive ones you'll see. Too bad she wasn't up to being at her best on the court today.
