Good deep dive into the global population collapse that is happening
🇭🇺 EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: PRESIDENT NOVAK & STEPHEN J SHAW ON POPULATION COLLAPSE - A GLOBAL ISSUE
With the elections weeks away and in the middle of the war between Hezbollah and Israel, I was honored to be in Hungary – rich in history, cultural heritage, and stunning landscapes.
I had a chat with @KatalinNovak_HU about the need for young people to understand their fertility window and avoid delaying family planning.
@StephenJShaw, Data Scientist and Demographer pointed out that 75% of the world lives in countries with birth rates below replacement, with South Korea in the most critical situation.
00:01 Introduction based on Elon’s quote: "I think the biggest problem the world will face in 20 years is population collapse."
06:40 Elon's 2016 perspective on population collapse.
14:00 Elon – It will be the biggest problem we face in the next 20 years.
16:18 @peterthiel – Once the decline flips, it never flips back.
1:00:48 @GiorgiaMeloni’s concern for Italy's low fertility rate.
1:04:44 Elon’s personal commitment to addressing the crisis.
1:20:18 Elon encouraged President Novak - @elonmusk: “Having children is saving the world.”
