๐ŸšจSenior Tories and Sarah Ferguson named as people who tast-tracked tirms into Covid PPE deals After a five-year legal fight, the government has finally named more than 30 senior Conservatives who referred companies into the Covid PPE VIP lane. Eight of Boris Johnson's cabinet ministers appear, including Dominic Raab, Robert Buckland, Simon Hart and Robert Jenrick. Matt Hancock is linked to 27 firms, Lord Feldman to 21 and Lord Agnew to 14. Michael Gove, Grant Shapps and Graham Brady are also named. Sarah Ferguson referred a small pharmaceutical company that shut down in 2022. Companies that got this fast-track treatment were ten times more likely to win contracts, yet large amounts of the kit later proved useless. The Covid Inquiry called the system inherently biased. Why did ministers spend five years fighting to keep the names of those who referred firms into this preferential system hidden from the public?
