Had coffee today with a counselor who attends our church. Part of the convo was his observation about why “doom-scrolling” causes so much anxiety— it introduces us to problems beyond the scope of our agency.
When our awareness outpaces our agency, we are left with anxiety.

While there are NO perfect field teams I do think sending churches can get to know team leaders on the ground before they send their members. This would be helpful for a variety of reasons strategically and relationally. #sendingchurch
