this raptors team simply didn't believe they would win tonight with Kawhi being a late scratch. only thing that'll reassure me is if i hear that there's been yelling in that locker room postgame
i hope dude understands what all this trolling is signing him up for
Yaxel Lendeborg on going to the line 12 times tonight which is something Jimmy Butler is particularly good at:
“Yeah, just seeing the way the NBA is, man, I guess a lot of fouls, a lot of free throws. So, I mean, I think I got to just adapt to what this is evolving to be. I’m going to learn all the sweep-throughs and all the bump and flops. Eventually, I’m going to get good at it and be able to shoot as many free throws as possible.”
biggest test of the season so far vs Minnesota. more eyes are gonna be watching that game. i'm nervous
i've been impressed with kuminga so far. clearly bought in to his role, but has not been tested much as of yet. i expect him to struggle having to attack closeouts vs toronto tomorrow, and struggle to make plays in the short roll with the pressure he'll see

I really hope the Toronto Raptors strongly consider Blake Hinson in that final two way role. Phenomenal shooter, can play in a forward/wing role. Your current two way spots are a PG (Smith), and the other is a C (Bittle). Just feel like it balances out by positional need and Blake had a great showing to end last season with the Jazz. He played 14 games and averaged 20.4 minutes and in those minutes 11.9 PPG, on 51.3% FG, 46.8% 3PT. He won his minutes.
We saw yesterday the shooting was ice cold for the Raptors and Blake Hinson is one of the best available shooters in basketball and really he’s one of the best available two way guys.
Good organizations find diamonds in the rough, but he’s right there for any team to scoop up and I’m praying Toronto is that team.
