Small collection of the art styles I've done over the past couple of years in Forge. Look forward to adding a few more in 2025. Halo Infinite is still a lot of fun to create in.
Halo CE on Xbconnect 🙈. Used to go into US lobbies on 0.5mb ICS Connection and get almost insta booted due to ping but on the rare UK lobbies it was magical.
Yes, this exactly! There's way more potential with this game while we wait for another.
With the publisher, Activision, building a new studio for Halo from the ground up, it's safe to assume the next Halo game is ~3-4 years out.
But Halo Studios is still in charge of all existing games. We KNOW Infinite has oodles of content that never hit the tarmac. I think it would be in the best interest of all Halo players for them to consider constructing a new digsite team (of sorts) to help push out some of those really cool things we never saw come to fruition.
- Near complete Dev maps could be given to the most trusted forgers to be dusted off and polished in Forge for release (I'm pretty sure there are like 4 or 5 maps, some big team battle, too. ALSO there's that giant forge world 2.0 map)
- The Gauss Hog exists. I've seen it. I've used it. All it needs is a little polish on the turret and some sounds and it's ready to roll (the Falcon was made from existing sounds in Infinite, the same can be done for this)
- The Phantom and Pelican have controls, you just can't spawn them. Let modders find a way to pull them in as spawnable vehicles.
- The Wolvereine was being worked on if I remember correctly.
- The unreleased black hole equipment item that was slated to work similar to the Void's Tear from Halo 5 could be polished and released. Gameplay changer right there.
- There are still a handful of Weapons that are not customizable. Allow us to customize the energy sword with different basic colors. MCC does this and it rules
- Find a way to unlock the Armor Kits. You do that and you're looking at a lot of new revenue

On top of this work that could be done alongside the community (and I know there would be people willing to help out) the developers could rework a few things within the game to help create a full definitive package.
- Update the Exchange with items that have still not been released (lookin at you, Snowman)
- Clean up the playlists for a simpler and solid round of modes and maps to help the player pool find matches quicker. There are simply too many modes and map copies in rotation for a 6 year old game.
- Rework the Ultimate Reward system. On top of a nice Spartan Point payout, introduce individual armor pieces from The Shop as weekly rewards. There are more than enough bundles in the game to pull from. Unlock a helmet as a weekly reward? The bundle it coincides with is now cheaper. I can guarantee it will incentivize folks to purchase things in the store. More money for the studio right there.
DOUBLE XP WEEKENDS: Double down on current Spartan Point earnings for the weekends, as well as double the already doubled up earnings.

This all sounds like a lot but I truly belive that if even a fraction of these things were implemented, Infinite would see a revitalization. The game has an incredibly rocky launch, but it's in a good spot now-- we just need more to do. I know forgers would help, I know modders would want to help. The game lasted as long as it did BECAUSE of Studio/Community collaboration.
If Halo Infinite had these things done as a Definitive Edition update- the fan base would have that much more to do while we wait for the future titles. Its a net positive. The studio was wrongfully gutted, but management can push for more hires and more work to be done. They're still a Studio, not a graveskeeper. Make it happen and you won't be disappointed.

Yesterday, I watched Naza.
I did not go to learn what had happened in Gaza. I am from there. I am one of the victims of this war, one of its witnesses, and one of those who have paid a price that will not end when the war does.
I did not need a film to tell me how entire neighborhoods were wiped away, how residential buildings were bombed with the people still inside them, or how families were forced to leave their homes without knowing where they were supposed to go.
Nor did I need anyone to tell me about the famine. I lived through it twice, with all its humiliations, down to the smallest detail. Or about the starving people who were killed while trying to reach what were so absurdly called “food distribution centers.”
I know all of this.
I was there.

Since Y'all decompiling Halo 3, any chance you could do Halo Infinite or Halo 5s Beta with the OG lighting intact?
A comprehensive analogy, HaloBox is right on the money here
Replying to @HaloBoxStudios
Going completely off the cuff so a lot of this probably won't hold up or make sense, but this video was probably more for me than anyone to be honest.

Gonna be honest, I have no confidence in Activision to deliver good Halo Games. I've genuinely enjoyed 343's games (Except H4) but felt Halo Studio's first outing wasn't good enough. Perhaps I'll be proven wrong but COD has been in a shit state for long enough to give me 0 hope
Tbh if they released another Halo like H3 I would have no interest in it. Evolve the franchise, don't go back plz. Unpopular opinion but I'd prefer the movement and gunplay of H5/Infinite than going back to the Nostalgia of mid-late 00s Halo.
Is it possible to Mod curb slides in the game? Lost count the number of times I've attempted it. Thanks
Just finished Campaign Evolved
Fiirst half of the game was about a 7/10. Second half 9/10.
A few bugs here and there which will hopefully be patch, but I had a blast and I'm really looking forward to seeing more from Halo Studios.
343 Guilty spark from Campaign Evolved may be the best looking Halo level ever made. God it's gorgeous and they nailed the Jenkins cut scene 👌🏻
Really need an option to turn these off on console
This is probably my biggest gripe, with hit-markers turned off (As they should be), things feel quite hollow to shoot. I also found it difficult to understand where I'm being shot, meleed or grenaded from.
I've played a few missions of Campaign Evolved and have quite mixed thoughts. I'll play a bit more before sharing my full outlook. I've watched HiddenXperia's video and I'm pretty much in agreement with almost everything so far
