JUST IN: Six Flags says they will be adding seat belts to Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia, and “other coasters with a similar restraint,” after the fatal incident a few weeks ago. Six Flags has confirmed that the following roller coasters will be receiving the added safety belts: - Goliath at Six Flags Over Georgia - Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America - Nitro at Six Flags Great Adventure When asked for a timetable on when the safety belts could be installed, Six Flags provided this statement: “The timing may vary by attraction based on the reviews, engineering requirements, availability of components and applicable approval processes. We will not reopen an affected attraction until the necessary work and reviews associated with that ride have been completed. We will provide park-specific updates as information becomes available.”
