Unregulated and uncapped spending through at least July 1, the projected addition of school "revenue share" in addition to Collective spend, and more talent in the portal because of roster caps are all contributing factors.
Determining player value is not a simple mathematical equation and will continue to be dynamic for years to come.

** 1,696 total active players in the NFL at any one time.
Tools like @TrckFootball are critical with a large market and quick decision-making for player personnel teams.

It's a misnomer that a salary cap for college sports is around the corner, which makes it really difficult for salary cap/GM tools that are in the marketplace.

Proposed roster limits move down from 120 to 105. All 105 COULD be on scholarship. But the costs for scholarships above 85 count against the +$20M revenue pool. That's an athletic department-wide number.
Hey @DustyDvoracek and @dannykanell, in terms of football rosters: According to the current House settlement terms, additional scholarships (over 85) will count against the revenue share number for the school. More scholarships = less NIL money. Doubt scholarships will grow.
Our data shows that social media audience quality and engagement for college athletes are rising. Official school accounts are getting more creative in helping generate reach. Local/regional brands are seeing a strong ROI.
Here is the latest Total Player Value snapshot for P4 Football. Will be interesting to see how these numbers change if the House Settlement is approved.

According to the data in this post, the avg. for a P4 football player will be around $175k for an average 85-player roster. It's also a 25 percent reduction from what the top P4 programs are spending on rosters this season.
There are numerous data models out there. TPV focuses on delivering quality data to our customers and working with them to apply that data in a way that works for them.
Excited to be working with @TrckFootball, bringing relevant athlete valuation and social data to college football coaches. TPV data compliments the terrific athlete insights and analytics suite on the Tracking Football platform.

Establishing financial parameters around athlete compensation (regardless of legalities) doesn't necessarily bring financial parity.
NFL: 40% difference from lowest team payroll to highest
NBA: 75% difference
MLB: 405 percent difference
Athletic Administrators: Do you have comprehensive social data for your athletes and your official social accounts? Do you have actionable benchmarking data to improve in this area? It's becoming more important every day.
Data by itself isn't a solution. Quality data does lead to better informed strategy formation, better feedback, and more efficient use and direction of resources.
