In distributed systems, liveness is everything. TRACE applies the same model to user-layer activity. Each node must emit signals at defined intervals. 3 transmissions per day = full liveness cycle. 300 nodes = full participation state. Missed intervals reduce reliability. Continuous uptime increases weight. The network doesn’t assume activity. It verifies it over time.
