For the next election, everyone should write-in Pope Leo XIV.

The collapse of the Christian populations in Iraq, Syria and Libya occurred directly after Western military intervention
I've heard this prudential argument over and over, and in the meantime the Christian populations of Iraq, Syria, and Libya have largely been exterminated. Which begs the question - prudential for who?

I was raised by RW conservative WASPs in the Deep South. There was never a single moment in my life where I thought using an anime picture on social media implied I was a woman. It's cute. You get to see a cute picture whenever you post, whenever you see your post, whenever your friends post. It's not that deep.

This isn’t an outlandish idea at all. Many people have ideas, grand systems, the implications of which they cannot see well. Many have strong beliefs that are incoherent. Even very intelligent people, like Quesnel.

> genuinely insane > looks inside > you can’t lose your job and salary when you’re ill
European hiring rules are genuinely insane. For example - if you own a company in the Netherlands and one of your employees gets sick, you are required to pay at least 70% of their wages for up to 2 years. If they can't go back to work after 2 years and you haven't done enough for their reintegration, you pay their wages for 1 more year. And you can't fire them until after that extra year!

I heard the bishops tried it in Spain when the Umayyads conquered everything. It took laypeople to stand up and say no, if we follow that path we're slowly forced to give up the faith

We must pray for them that their wicked urges to tear the seamless garment cease. They repent from their worldly errors and return to Christ 🙏

The German "Synodal Path" is a blazing scandal, and precisely so in the Biblical sense. It can rightfully be called anti-evangelization; the people who partly dominated the debate there belong to the very bottom of the barrel (with ridiculous, pseudo-intellectual posturing).
LATEST: Cardinal Gerhard Müller has called for an end to Germany’s Synodal Way arguing that its documents carry no magisterial authority and insisting that Pope Leo XIV is the successor of St Peter, not Pope Francis. On the German process itself, he said its documents “have no sense or there’s no value for the magisterium” and must be stopped. The Prefect Emeritus of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith also stressed that Leo’s mission is defined by the Petrine office rather than by chronological succession that would bind him to non-definitive documents or measures of the previous pontificate. “The Pope is not the successor of the Pope before, but he’s a successor of St. Peter. So chronologically, successor of the Pope before him, but this has no theological importance." Read the full Correspondence at @RealAdVaticanum. advaticanum.com/article/card…
