The images which have shaped my work every year since 1989, are being put into my own Fame of Hall. Stories. Of the time. Characters who know why they are involved...

Smoke Free Cards, of 8 of the starting #TRFC 11 which starred in Rovers first match at Crawley. A super 5-2 win.
The other 3 players were on loan..
I once wrote about the incredibly straight parking plan, and instructions provided in a Grimsby Town programme. Do drivers still obey such instructions around Blundell Park and did other teams provide such comprehensive information on parking #matchdayprogrammes
Jimmy Moreton, Tranmere player then later manager during the War Time period following relegation from Div2
Son of Jack who was playing for Rovers in 1891 when Jim was born, making them potentially if not one of the first father/son duo to play for #TRFC
Would #TRFC have still made the League Cup Final in 2000 if they had played Arsenal ?
What a mess with UEFA meddling -
Don’t forget FA cup replays needed to be scrapped because the ‘big teams’ couldn’t cope with too many games. This seems like another nail in the coffin for the league cup
🧵Details for the Round Three draw of the #CarabaoCup have now been confirmed.
As a result of the expanded European competition calendar, and the associated fixture clashes it presents, the EFL will again be required to implement additional conditions for the Carabao Cup Round Three draw.

🚨 EXCLUSIVE 🚨
📻 @BBCShropSport understands Shrewsbury Town's search for a new owner has reached the fit and proper person's test after agreeing terms with an 🇺🇸 American consortium.
➡️We can report that documents have been submitted this week to the EFL and the new Independent Football Regulator.
➡️There's still a couple of documents to be filed, but the independent verification process has started.
➡️The prospective owners are different to the American group who pulled out last year due to external issues.
➡️It means a takeover isn't imminent.
➡️@BBCShropSport understands the new signings made this summer continue to be funded solely by Roland Wycherley. He's just paid a transfer fee for Barrow midfielder Isaac Fletcher.
No potential buyer is legally able to have influence at a football club until a takeover is fully completed.

Prenton Park not retractable then
🚨🚨| NEW: Tottenham are investigating whether the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium’s retractable pitch is contributing to their injury crisis after suffering the most days lost to injury of any Premier League club this season (370 games missed).
It is a second straight injury-hit campaign, with 123 injuries since 2024/25 and a number of serious knee injuries including ACL issues.
External testing on the pitch has already taken place but results remain inconclusive, with further analysis planned.
