there is so much beauty in the world and some days all i want is to receive it in its totality. i think happiness is as simple as just being porous enough to let it all in and be changed by it

a little patch of autumn underneath all that stone and sky

just had my first gust of wind that sent fallen leaves rushing around me and my heart fluttered with them

i think it’s important from time to time to look at the places we call home with fresh eyes, like you are visiting it for the first time. it helps remind us what first drew us to them and all the little things that keep us there.

even in the deepest woods, sunlight always seems to find somewhere to enter
