What makes a great club? As we continue building the Golf Club for the modern era @LinksDAO, we ask ourselves this question all the time. The Spey Bay Ryder Cup gives us a strong answer. A club... OUR club… is more than a couple of golf courses, some benefits, and a discord server. It is the traditions we build and cherish - revolving around our love of IRL golf. Some might say it is the people that make a club special - but a great club is also more than the sum of its membership. As a blockchain-based membership, we also lean heavily on the "how" of joining to define Links. But after attending most of our Signature and community-hosted events since mint, I can confidently say that the special sauce is not just the tech upon which our club is built, and anyone who spends some time at Spey Bay with our local members can tell you that our bonds transcend crypto-nativity. What we've been building, and where we continue to push forward, is on bringing these great events, these traditions, to all of our members - not just where our courses are, or at the next conference venue, but to your backyard. Member-hosted events in NY/NJ. Sweetens Cove meetups in TN. Socal get-togethers. Being the platform for golfers to connect and establish not only new friendships but new *traditions* both on and off the course is the mission - and it doesn't hurt when we get to touch grass together at top 100 clubs around the world, or sing the national anthem at the top of our lungs in a competition with our European friends at Spey Bay. No one is doing what we're doing, and we're still so, so early. Hodl the Gofl.
