Fun fact: The keyboard display in this video is a self-made, byzantine Reaktor ensemble with hand-pixeled graphics. Because, umh, branding? (Or maybe we couldn't find a plugin that would do what we wanted. I forget)

After the first demo came out nicely, but maybe a bit too focused on the electronica side, I set out to write something more lyrical and cinematic. This is the result, and out of my two ISLA demos it's become the one I've grown a bit attached to. [3/3]

In the end, it worked out better than I expected. At a few points I would've reached for a percussion or string library to pad things out under normal circumstances, but limiting myself to ISLA made for an interesting challenge that brought forth its own set of ideas. [2/3]

I held off on writing demos for my soundset Zebra Elementals: ISLA for the longest time. I think I was a bit scared. I meant ISLA to be a "secret spice rack" much more than a "bread and butter" kind of library, and how do you make an appetizing dish entirely out of spices? [1/3]
